My 2017 X1 with 10,000 miles died.Water in the trunk and sunroof not-functional. Had the car towed into the dealer. 5 days before a diagnosis & wanted $4,000 to replace fuel pump mechanism and $6,000 to re sunroof not-functional. Had the car towed into the dealer. 5 days before a diagnosis & wanted $4,000 to replace fuel pump mechanism and $6,000 to repair/replace sunroof mechanism.Car value is approx. $27,000.The absurdity of this rendered me speechless.Arranged to have car towed to an independent shop. Suddenly price for fuel pump greatly reduced.Was promised a car for the Labor Day weekend which was reneged on.Independent dealer said water drains for the car were blocked so they cleaned them out and no more water in the trunk.Unable to fix sunroof because BMW has a proprietary computer program that hasn't been released to the public that controls the sun roof operation. Needless to say, until that is (if) it is released I won't be using the sunroof, which frankly is a problem the open because of road noise and often blazing sun on your heads. So purposeful?misdiagnosis, exorbitant and indefensible prices and poor customer service. Never go there! More
Unfortunately it is hard to figure out why this dealer is so incompetent while at the same time being, let’s say, “loose with the facts”. The suburban Bmw dealers seem way better and more ethical than our o so incompetent while at the same time being, let’s say, “loose with the facts”. The suburban Bmw dealers seem way better and more ethical than our own BMW of Manhattan - it’s best to avoid. Good luck out there! More

The communication from this dealership is disgracefuI because it is non-existent and they DO NOT CARE. Literally, they do not care. If you choose to bring your car here out of convenience of location (like I did since I live in the city) know this: You will not get timely communication; they won't pick up a phone or return call when you leave a message; they also won't return a text-the good thing about the texting is they use a company system so any text you send to the unresponsive service advisor is logged and saved-will help with a complaint if you can find anyone who actually cares about it. You can email the service manager, who might prompt the advisor to reply but you might still get no reply although the service manager will email you back and say "sorry". The labor rates are $230 an hour. Don't expect that that will buy you any consideration unless you have taken a loaner they want back or are one of the people that gives the advisors tickets or is just super rich and never waits for anything-because I am sure those people get prompt service-your appointment is otherwise meaningless here. I would like to say that the pandemic and staffing shortages, as well as supply chain issues might explain the abominable service experience I have now had TWICE in recent times. Since June, it has been horrendous service at a premium cost. I will actually save the details of my sob story because the details aren't really important. I have owned BMWs for many years and have never ever experienced the abuse this place dishes out. More

Their service was professional, courteous, yet still approachable and friendly in every manner. They responded very quickly and fulfilled all of my requests when it came to picking up my vehicle; a tough order for a discerning customer like myself. Adrian, the BMW Genius I had worked with, was also courteous and easy to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the vehicle and was able to answer all of my questions with ease. All in all, a wonderful experience purchasing my vehicle. For years, I have avoided dealerships and primarily dealt with independent auto brokers instead. Yet BMW of Manhattan has renewed my faith in working with dealerships again. They were that good, and with such a positive experience, I would not hesitate recommending using them for your next BMW purchase. More
Picked up our second BMW and returned our leased X1 this weekend. Only positive things to say - got a very decent price given the overall car market. Paperwork experience was all online so we got in to pick weekend. Only positive things to say - got a very decent price given the overall car market. Paperwork experience was all online so we got in to pick up the car and our new hotness was waiting for us, a BMW Genius (official title! lol) came up to move our plates, inspect our lease return, and and show us some of the new goodies in the new car. Paperwork experience was great -- we did 90% of it from home online via docusign! And no pushy upsells for protection package stuff, the sales manager mentioned it once, I said no thanks, and that was the end of that. Our experience getting our X1 3 years ago here was very much the same. And experience with service, though granted we've only had routine maintenance done, has been good - car gets picked up, serviced, washed, brought back good as new. I dropped off my brand new M3 for routine 1200 m THIS DEALERSHIP IS THE WORST!! You should not use this dealership if you care about your car. I dropped off my brand new M3 for routine 1200 mile service. About an hour later Radha Tucker told me they "ran out" of one of the fluids and it will take another day.. When I got the car back it had 25 miles more on the odometer all the traction control was turned off there was chip in the rim and worn out tires. Clearly "technician 1201" was drifting the car. After saying something about this the xxxxxxx Joe Rocker made threats against me saying he was going to have me arrested. I'm not sure what kind of xxxx show these clowns are running but all the people that work here are horrible people. Even just walking through the showroom was a very rude experience with the staff. Do yourself a favor and use a different dealership. These people don't deserve your business and you'll most probably have a bad experience. I will never go to this place again. What a bad experience !! More
Horrible customer service on my car.after buying two new SUVs. Waited over 3.5 hours for an oil change with completely inadequate communication but for limited texts and finally had to leave without my car SUVs. Traded in my 2018 X1 for a 2021 X3 just recently. The entire process went smoothly thanks for Cesar Marufo and Phil Salazar.
