We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater.com review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at their dealership. We have reviewed the situation with your multiple times in face to face meetings. We have explained to you why the repair needed is not covered under warranty. We have gone to BMWNA on your behalf. We have reduced the cost of the repair by 50% and we have secured financing in the amount you requested (verifiable through email) through BMW Financial Services. Your post citing a replacement cost of $22000 is not correct(as you know). We did in fact provide your Mom with a loaner initially because as you know, our insurance will not cover you in our loaner as you do not meet our age criteria. Regardless of that fact and your knowledge of it you still drove our loaner, violating the loaner agreement and then hid it from us by parking it in the pathmark lot adjacent to our building so we wouldn't see it. I believe we have been forthcoming and professional with you throughout this situation and while we can certainly understand your frustration, we bear no responsibility for your mis shift into 2nd gear from 3rd gear at 88 mph. I would respectfully request that you review the situation, our response to it. I am obligated to respond to your post publicly but wanted to give you the opportunity to discuss it further before adding our dealership comments.
