Bad Service Department Beware of the service department. Every one of my visits, I am there for MANY hours. Worst service ever Had and appointment at 0830 it now 6pm on a saturday and not only am I still waiting for what should have been a simple oil change. They broke the back window roller and said out of good faith we bmw will pay some of it. Ended up paying 75% of it. I will never come here you have my word and promise! If you know someone cool they probably treat you good or hook it up but the simple customer we get screw over and over again. More
A simple flat tire It was 10 pm and just as my phone went dead, my tire on the driver side rear went flat. Little did i realize it was a tread separation. With no phone i was able to get to a phone at the store and get a ride home to call roadside assistance. This is my first bmw and it is an2008 328i certified pre owned. Aside from the inconvenience and the bad timing i thought nothing of it since i paid 1500 cash for the wheel and tire warranty. I met the tow truck there at 1220 am. Luckily he was a little early. We left the car with him and he towed it with a regular tow truck to bmw like 1 mile away. I fell asleep thinking they'd take care of me. So at 730 am i talk to my service advisor. She says that my tires will cost 300 a piece, I said tires? And she said here is a tear on the tread of the other rear as well. I asked her about the warranty and she said they are not covered due to zero tread. I was told when that same shop sold me the car that i could do donuts and burn through the rim to the axle and it would all be covered, thats why i bought it. She then proceeded to tell me it would be 1 week before they could get the tires. Then she said she had pirellis and i could have it tomorrow if i chose those. I said okay and she said it would be 1200 dollars. I gasped and asked what other options there was as that was my only car and i depend on it for my job, and she said that was it. I became mad, as now i felt she was trying to scam me. Either 1200 today or 300 in a week. I told her id find a tire. Every place in town had my tire rated higher than what i had for 200 dollars, these people didnt even care that i was stressed from the night before. Then when bmw went to pick up my tire from the vendor i choose their truck broke down and i had to wait an extra day, no concern for my time though. When i finally got the car the steering wheel was crooked. I was told it was like that when they got it, which it wasnt ever. Turns out the tow truck did it and i was left going between road side assistance, bmw service and the tow company, all pointing at each other. No one offered to help me and in fact this bmw locations service manager accused me or rather insinuated that i was lying. Needless to say, in the end the tire has a bubble on it, at my previous services bmw checked my tire inspections as fine, but all of a sudden my rears have zero tread. I was in 6 weeks prior for an oil change. Now today 3 weeks after this i had to replace one of the tires. I will never buy another bmw. Also the sales manager as well as the gm have yet to return my calls or emails regarding the warranty. If you are rich i can see not having any issues, but if you are working class or below these people are con artists. More

Advisor text messaging upon arrival, no greetings, awkward moment for 3-5 mins. Came for 1 year service oil change. Never thought I'm due for that service, I'm a first time owner of BMW, all I can remember was when I bought the car my first service is after 1 year. Came at 1045 am, I said I'll be waiting. Dealer took my car at the back as there's no other customer at that time. Advisor said I might have to wait till after 1 as mechanics are going to lunch. Makes me wonder, do they have lunch all at the same time? This is just for a simple oil change, no other services. Unbelievable. Got the car back though after an hr. He came to me and said my car will be out shortly as it is being washed. Fine job with the car wash but no vacuum, after waiting 45 mins. Car was sitting outside, no body even bothered to call me or page me that my car is ready. Driver side floor mat is disarranged. Drove out, never again. In fairness, advisor was not pushy, no upselling when I declined some of the recommended services. No personalized service whatsoever. Maybe because I was not wearing my suit. More
This is my fourth BMW from this dealership and I have been dealing with Josh in service since day one. I've had a 2006 M5, 06 330i 2010 M3 and 2012 X5 diesel. I'm a loyal customer as long as I'm being t been dealing with Josh in service since day one. I've had a 2006 M5, 06 330i 2010 M3 and 2012 X5 diesel. I'm a loyal customer as long as I'm being treated right . On different occasions Josh has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me when I have been in a bind. On a trip to LA I had car problems and Josh was able to secure me a x5 to finish the trip instead of some crap fleet rental car and because of this I ended up leasing a diesel x5 when they came out and now I couldn't be happier. What I also love about Desert BMW is that overall they work together as a team and get the problem fixed right THE FIRST TIME. With other brands the service person might be great but not the rest of the crew ie (lot guys,car washers,techs) It takes more than one person to make the experinece great. But the frontline is always handled by the service dept and Josh is one of the best. This is why I will always be a Desert Bmw customer . More
Josh Martinez is the bomb! We just moved here from Hawaii and needed to bring our car in for service and our first few visits to Desert BMW have been disappointing compared to experiences at BMW Honolulu. Talking with some of the service people over the phone it seemed nearly impossible to get our car in for service at a convenient time for us and my husband and I had the impression that they were lazy or just didnt want to fit us in. Our air conditioner had a leak so it blew warm and with two young kids in the hot Vegas SUN it was not a good experience! We decided to drive into BMW to talk to someone and see if we could be helped, because if this happened in Honolulu, we would be serviced right away. My husband had been given a card from another sales rep on previous visits so we asked for him but thankfully he was on lunch and we got referred to Josh, who was more than helpful for us! We were told we wouldn't be seen until the next day, but Josh had us taken care of right away and also made arrangements for a loaner car. He's our go to guy from now on and changed our view of Desert BMW from bad to good! More
After being lucky enough to be introduced to Josh Martinez 7 yrs ago as my service manager was just icing on the cake for me. Not only do I have the privelage of driving the best car on the market, I also get the service to back it up. I have recently up graded so i am on my 2nd BMW and Josh has been there for me every step of the way. He never gives me open appointment times he always asks what day and time is good for me. With my schedule that is so important. He always gives a courtesy call when my car is done which is always done when He said it would be. I have never had either car back for the same problem. Josh assures it is done right the first time. Josh is a true professional at what he does and knows his job very well. He goes above and beyond to check and see if the service I am requesting is covered by my warranty. If not he let's me know before hand. I have NEVER been hit with hidden cost or surprise while dealing with Josh. I definitely recommend anyone looking to purchase an awesome car to check out BMW of Las Vegas and after you make the purchase go meet Josh Martinez in the service department.
