Jordan Gautreaux was a great source of info, but there were a few delays in getting the part for my car. A few days bled into a week or so and it became a bit stressful since I needed my car for a work trip. When I picked it up, the contents of my glove box were all over the passenger side floor and seat which was totally unacceptable. How could a BMW employee see this, not care, and still have the audacity to deliver my car in a manner unlike which I left it to them, especially at a luxury car dealership, no less? Once again, I really liked Jordan, but there were some things left to be desired. More

Overall, the experience was good for what it was buying a pre-owned car. Salesman was very nice and easy to deal with no pressure. Price haggling was fair back and forth a few times. Finance went smooth in a pre-owned car. Salesman was very nice and easy to deal with no pressure. Price haggling was fair back and forth a few times. Finance went smooth in and out of the office in ten minutes, fastest one in a long time, didn't buy any unnecessary add ons, just basic powertrain coverage. The whole process took a few hours it was a Saturday afternoon they were busy. I'm NOT a fan of Autonation at all having been burnt twice in the past with them at other locations but this time was better. The car still wasn't a 100% the car I found out shortly after needs front struts about $500 not the end of the world and I scored a few tanks of fuel off them, so the expense isn't too worrisome. Happy customer in the end with the vehicle and the experience. More
I wasn't going to leave a review, but they're so tone deaf that they sent me an email ASKING me to do so (even after I made it clear to them that I was incredibly disappointed and would recommend to my f deaf that they sent me an email ASKING me to do so (even after I made it clear to them that I was incredibly disappointed and would recommend to my friends that they find a different BMW dealership). 1) They originally asked me to put down a non-refundable deposit within 25 minutes of first talking to them. I wasn't 100% sure yet so I declined, but then the next day when I was sure that I wanted the x7 they had on the lot (but didn't think, with in-laws coming to visit that day, that I'd be able to get in before the weekend), they wouldn't let me put down a non-refundable deposit to secure the car. They were clearly trying to create some false sense of urgency/competition, which I understand, but I offered to make a $20k non-refundable deposit, which they declined. I still don't understand why. So I had to spend four hours getting the car while my kids' grandparents were visiting. 2) When I got there, and was clearly captive, they downgraded the price they were willing to pay for my Audi Q7 trade-in because they said it needed new tires. They KNEW it had 35,000 miles on it, and that the tires would have been worn down commensurate with that usage. And when I asked the salesman if he had expected that I would put new tires on the car I was trading in, he said, "I don't know, you might have." It was so clearly disingenuous. 3) After I left in a hurry (and, clearly, in a bit of a huff) with my new x7, I asked them if they could have someone come by the house and walk my wife through all the features, because she'll be the primary driver of the car. (I would never have thought to ask that, but our Audi dealer had done it with our previous two cars, so I figured BMW would offer a similar service.) Instead, they sent me links to YouTube videos posted by dealerships in New Jersey, Louisiana and elsewhere. Now I have to watch these videos and try to give my wife the run-down myself, rather than being able to ask questions (and I still have questions, because the videos leave something to be desired). Apparently there's actually a phone number that you can call (the "BMW Genius" line) for questions about the features. No one at BMW of Houston North told me about it, I just found it when I was googling a question I had about the car. The car itself is super-cool, my kids love it, it looks like it has a boat-load of features (that I'll need to discover for myself). I'm pleased with the x7, just totally disappointed in BMW of Houston North. More
