Sales people are professional, courteous and available. The paperwork processor was also very friendly. Excellent service on my car, but no loaner car available (I understand this) , a shuttle ride home but no ride back to the dealer. I would have to rent a car. Pretty poor service on a new luxury car. Possible over night hold for cold star - First contact, Emanuel states techs can’t find any issue with the car, it runs fine and no codes are shown. Possible over night hold for cold start test. - Second contact, An hour later Emanuel calls back to state that the issue is the fuel pump and module shorted out. Then stated they came to this conclusion/diagnosis because the car wouldn’t start when they tried to pull it out of the bay (The bay that the car drove into under its own power Emanuel confirmed). So our options given to us by Emanuel was pay $2600 or have it towed. - Third contact (next day), Emanuel states that the car has now started and they have came to a NEW conclusion that it’s a intermittent fuel pump shortage INTERNALLY (short is inside fuel pump). Next option given to us by Emanuel is to come pick up the car but he can’t promise that it will start once I arrive. - Details never provided were, codes or steps in detail that supports the diagnosis. - Concerns, during second contact I was given a definitive answer that the fuel pump and module are shorted out and my car will not run and will have to be fixed or towed BUT the next day a new diagnosis has accrued state the fuel pump isn’t actually shorted to the point of failure or absolute need of repair for the car to run and is just a intermittent issue. So yesterday if I would have paid it would have been for a false diagnosis. Going forward from here how can I be confident that this new diagnosis is TRUE? Example: For all I know I could get a phone call tomorrow morning stating that the fuel pump is fine and it was just the injectors the whole time. My fear is that something was damaged during diagnosis that is now causing this newly acquired intermittent failing to start issue (that was never a problem before, nor the original reason for coming in). I towed my car to another mechanic he did diagnostics found nothing wrong. Changed the air filter. Said there’s no starting problems for sure and no other problems he can find the car runs and drives great. He was so positive that he told me If it doesn’t start call him he’ll come tow it for free. I’ve been driving the car for weeks and it’s started every time and runs perfectly. Service Mgr Wyatt is terrible Service writer Emanuel is Terrible!
