A few hours later Kyle called me and informed me that the radiator was leaking and it needed to be replaced the labor will be $2100 I told Kyle I couldn't afford it and called Pep Boys they quoted me 1200 for labor I called Kyle back and I explained that Pep Boys would charge less, Kyle said he can do work for $1500 I agreed and Kyle rest assured that my radiator was the only problems. A week and a half later Kyle calls and says theres more issues I was confused because I thought my car was diagnosed and the only issue was my radiator he said charges after repairs should be around 2300 I explained I couldn't afford it Kyle replied and said don't worry he'll get it down to 1700 I agreed. On Jan. 6 Kyle called and said my car was ready and said my bill is 3800 I screamed like how did my price shoot sky high he said that he'll have his boss contact me and try to negotiate price it's been a week and still no contact or help...I was severely taking advantage of. Stacey was very helpful and called when the car was ready for pickup. The Expert genius Vic was not able to assist regarding the February 2022, 3G phase out and its effects on the Connect Drive. I will be for pickup. The Expert genius Vic was not able to assist regarding the February 2022, 3G phase out and its effects on the Connect Drive. I will be returning to the dealership to speak with the dealership Service Manager, regarding BMW Connect Drive and 3G as was recommended on my phonecall with the BWM representative from BMW USA. It does not seem right that because the carriers are phasing out 3G, that BMW has indicated that its not BMW's problem. As a result safety and notifications thru BMW Connect Drive will likely be halted in February 2022. Is BMW really going to be left in the dark with no upgrade or fix to this Connect Drive 3G issue? Disorganized, perhaps under-staffed. Customers serviced in apparently haphazard order and not first-come first-served or by appt, as expected. The biggest disappointment and turn-off, though, is the contin in apparently haphazard order and not first-come first-served or by appt, as expected. The biggest disappointment and turn-off, though, is the continued attempt to gouge long term loyal BMW customers with ridiculously over-priced repairs. It’s not enough that hourly tech rates for even the simplest routine maintenance/repairs are way over market, but coupled with inflated job estimate times per the “book”, is substantially non-competitive and forces us to seek and use alternative options. 150%, even 200% (double), would be understandable and possibly even justified for the reputation of BMW-trained expertise, but 300 to 500% over increasingly competent alternative solutions is a deal-breaker. To acquiesce to the price gouging sends the wrong message/feedback and only furthers to promote more of the same, leaving no choice but to decline. It’ll be interesting to see what comes of this.
