Worst buying experience ever! The ONLY bright spot in this whole ordeal was John Moore. I purchased a 2011 X5 from John in August.(90 days ago!)that was a CPO car. I was assured by The ONLY bright spot in this whole ordeal was John Moore. I purchased a 2011 X5 from John in August.(90 days ago!)that was a CPO car. I was assured by all involved that the car had been inspected and "WAS A PERFECT CAR". Over the next 60 days this car was in their shop 3 TIMES with a bad wheel bearing and assorted electrical issues. Before I could get it back to the shop for the fourth time on Monday, it caught fire in my garage on Sunday afternoon and was declared a total loss.SO MUCH FOR UNITED BMW CPO INSPECTION AND CERTIFICATION PROCESS!!!!NOW comes the reason for the review.(As if that wasn't enough)Thirty days later I receive insurance payment for the car from my insurance company and go back to United BMW to buy another car and in forty years of buying cars, I have NEVER had a buying experience like this one. John tried to deal with "TONY" , which was calling himself a sales manager at the time. (TONY, I would very much recommend you finding another job because, YOU ARE NOT TOO GOOD AT THIS ONE!!)I have never talked to anyone in this sort of position that was so condescending. After I endured all of his insults I could, I drove to Birmingham and bought a 550 GT like the one at United except it had more equipment and I paid several thousand less for it!
