They have complete uneducated techs working on your vehicle. Bc whoever changed my brake fluid should not be working there any more. Left oily finger prints inside of my hood, my rubber strut tower was not put back in place and my rubber seal was left loose not tuck in like it should my engine bay was a lot dirty then I brought it in. Not sure what they did but my exhaust actuator no longer works. I keep hearing rattle sounds under my dash it's frustrating and when I picked up the car some gangster kid thought it was cool to lean my seat all the way back. I called to speak to service manager and I was told I would get a call back after they speak to tech. Never got a call back. I will never step foot back to this dealership ever again. Their brand name is a fraudulent. I would advise you to go somewhere else. Oh to top it off they never topped off my fluids my wind shield fluid was still very and they didn't check my coolant reservoir bc it was also empty I had to stop by the auto store to buy these to get my fluids refilled. Dustin Rodriguez may be nice guy but I don't like being told a lie. Sewell bmw is a fraudulent name. More
Want to be clear that in the past Sewell BMW was great service provider. However our last visit for service left me bewildered and in disbelief. In short the front grill shutter system failed Our X7 is ex service provider. However our last visit for service left me bewildered and in disbelief. In short the front grill shutter system failed Our X7 is extraordinary low miles but is out of warranty. This issue has been wide spread on multiple models and BMW in their typical fashion extended the warranty on the component to 10 years and 100k miles, but not on the X7, so I asks for good will support. Sewell would not even try and quoted me approximately $1700 to repair it, so I called BMW customer support directly and received great feedback and response in that they agreed it was something they could support but needed to confer with Sewell for confirmation of the failure. To my surprise BMW came back to me today telling me that they could not support with good will because Sewell stated “the failure was not a failed component but was caused by something foreign causing the shutters to jam and not operate. I expressed my disappointment to BMW pointing out, that if that was the case why did Sewell want to charge me $1700 to replace a failed component. The gentleman actually agreed but said he could not help unless the dealers diagnoses indicated the component failed. Needless to say we won’t be using Sewell any longer based on there seems to be a genuine ethics issue. We love the BMW product but will also reconsider that also. If they don’t better monitor the ethical behavior of their distribution network….how do you receive good service. Feeling a little stuck as we have 3 BMW’s!! More
I am dismayed by the lack of communication by this dealership. I was informed that my car was ready for pickup and that checking out would take 15 minutes. After I dropped off the loaner and paid for dealership. I was informed that my car was ready for pickup and that checking out would take 15 minutes. In the end I was told that the car had been sitting in the pickup line and it was my fault for not getting it. More
I was dropping of my 2019 BMW X7 for routine maintenance. I was rushing to get my stuff and accidentally pulled the right front air vent clips out when trying to remove my phone mount. I told them what I did and I was told they could give me a quote to repair it. They came back with a quote of $2,000. I was told they could not just put the pieces back in, they would need to replace the entire unit. NO THANK YOU! When I got home I watched a YouTube video that showed me how to put it back together. I was able to get the clips back in but I ended up snapping the little piece that connected to leaver that allowed the clips to move from side to side. I went on Amazon and ordered a replacement for $30. It fit perfectly and snapped right in. I can’t believe that they told me it couldn’t be fixed when it could have been or that there were going to charge me $2,000 to replace something that didn’t need to be fixed. More

Poor service, condescending to women The BMW portion of this dealer is terrible. My car has failed to start twice in the 5 weeks I have had it. It has had other electrical problems I tri The BMW portion of this dealer is terrible. My car has failed to start twice in the 5 weeks I have had it. It has had other electrical problems I tried to explain, but they don’t seem to listen to me and tell me there is nothing wrong with the car. If nothing is wrong, why won’t it start? It is a certified pre-owned car with less than 20,000 miles and it should not be this unreliable. I have not had to pay for anything since the car is under warranty, but that is not very comforting when you are stranded in a parking garage. If you are a woman I would not recommend dealing with Sewell BMW of Grapevine. If you are in the market for a luxury car, I would recommend a Lexus or Infiniti. My Infiniti has 110,000 miles and has never left me stranded. More
