The service center at BMW of Gainesville has consistently been above the bar. They are easy to work with on scheduling our appointments (a plus when we - actually my spouse for me -are driving 100 miles!). T been above the bar. I called about a pre owned car that I was very interested in buying. I couldn’t drive to Gainesville that day but said I could make the 2.5 hour drive the next day. They wouldn’t accept a deposit but said the keys would be set aside for me if I confirmed I was on my way. They suggested making an appointment, and I did, and arranged to take off half a day of work to drive there and back. Dealership called twice the day of the appointment to confirm I was still coming-including as I was starting the drive to Gainesville. I asked if the car would still be available when I got there-that I was driving almost 2.5 hours to see it-and they said yes. But when I got to the dealership-a couple hours before my appointment-a sales associate came over to talk with me and casually said that a guy was in the process of purchasing the car at the very moment/deal was already made. I was shocked. I told him I had an appointment and had driven in to look at the car, and he just kind of shrugged and said he had been working “six deals that morning” on it. More
