We were told by Nilesh, our service advisor, that all 4 tires on our BMW-X1 needed to be replaced and there were no mileage warranty on the tires, only hazard insurance. We installed all 4 tires in Decembe tires on our BMW-X1 needed to be replaced and there were no mileage warranty on the tires, only hazard insurance. We installed all 4 tires in December, 2019 which means they only lasted for 3 years and 2 months, much less than the 5 years/60k miles warranty listed on the Bridgestone DriveGuard warranty certificate that was given to us. We called Nilesh back and mentioned about the DriveGuard warranty. He said our service department do not handle that. If you want any prorated credit due to premature wearing, you have to call the manufacturer yourself. We really DO NOT appreciate Nilesh's attitude. We are BMW-Fremont long term customer (leased 1 BMW-X3, 2 BMW-X1, and bought the last X1) and don't feel treated as such. I remember when I replaced tires at America Tire Store. They gave me prorated credit when the tires met the warranty condition. I never have to call the manufacturer !! Another thing that border me is the faulty low tire pressure indicator. I brought the car in numeral times (at least 3 times) for this problem. They just reset the indicator without border to track down the real cause. More
Matthew Richardson is the best service person I have ever had. This is not my first BMW and I cannot say enough good things about him. He is always very kind and professional. I really appreciate the exceptional service provided by the service advisor - Matthew Richardson (in going out all his the way and squeezing me in) for an unscheduled service appointment (my car had engine the service advisor - Matthew Richardson (in going out all his the way and squeezing me in) for an unscheduled service appointment (my car had engine lights on). He was also able to arrange a loaner for me (when all other BMWs service centers were scheduling me out by 2 weeks, and i was skeptical to keep on driving my car with engine lights on) Thanks Matt ! :) More
