Have been dealing with this organization for 15 years. Since being taken over by BMW of Freeport, there has been a complete turnaround for the better. Been dealing with Steve Itkin. I feel like I’m getting straight talk and not being sold things that I really don’t need. Also, a big shout-out to the body shop down the road! Stopped by a couple of months back to get an estimate on having a bumper repaired. Fixed the problem right there and then at NO CHARGE! I’ll bring my cars to both the service center and/or the body shop any day of the week! More

We drive the car everyday and drive it for short distances and never noticed a rock hitting the windshield. Took the service department a day to fix the tire issue which was just a flat and when my wife picked up the car there was a large spider web looking crack on the top portion of the windshield. Not a slight crack, but a big crack that looks like something big hit it and not a little rock. Zoom in on picture attached. Steve the manager from the service department would not claim responsibility and stated that it was likely a crack that was there that was not visible that expanded after the car was washed. I think it's possible that could happen in some cases, but again the crack we observed was not a small crack or a one line crack it looked like something significant impacted it. I also doubt that it was a pre-existing chip because I've also witnessed how some of their drivers drive the vehicles in their crowded service lot which leaves much to be desired. We have owned other vehicles in the past that we used to drive long distance and have a history with windshield rock chips and cracks, this was not a typical rock chip or crack. Rock chips usually leave a tiny dent or chip that does expand. Here there was no dent or chip just the large crack. BTW, this is the first time a crack has showed up right when we picked it up at the dealer. Their solution is to have our insurance pay for it. I'm sure they will, but what concerns me is that I don't see that they care much for customer vehicles. I would have preferred that they take responsibility and fix the crack to show remorse and that they own up to the mistake showing that they do care for our expensive vehicles. Last time we use this dealer for anything and will be going to Rallye for service. Recently purchased an M550 from Rallye with a great deal after Freeport wouldn't even return our calls. Guess where we are going to trade in our X5. Thanks Freeport BMW. More

Please know that Service Manager, Dave Craft & Service Director, Mike Timpone and their team at BMW of Freeport provided me with EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! In addition, Steve Osorio provided me with positive feedback on service recommendations. Price is more than fair! My recent service experience on my X3 was excellent with Dave Craft's help. He never disappoints us and his respectful, high level of service never wavers. It's always a pleasure to work with him. BMW of FREEPORT = Great service, very friendly employees! They went above and beyond to assure that my vehicle would be serviced accordingly. With their advanced automotive service technicians who specialize on BMWs; I was pleased with the care that was provided with me X3. It was obvious that these advanced technicians (ASE/BMW Step Certified) provided the service needed to ensure the safety of my family when traveling on the roadways. Overal, I have never experienced this type of service with any dealer, unlike BMW of Freeport. I highly recommend this service department, as you will not find a service provider with the leadership that Mr. Craft and Mr. Timpone provide for the specialists. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The WORST Service for the Ultimate Driving Machine! Actually surprised that I even have to write a review like this but I think it's important that it's known how this service department treats their cu Actually surprised that I even have to write a review like this but I think it's important that it's known how this service department treats their customers. I have a 2017 430xi and when I first came for the first service I had such a great experience and was very satistfied with how the service was handled. The second time I came to the service center - it was for a NYS inspection. The estimated time to wait was between 20m-1hr and I figured it wasn't too long to wait. I waited for over 2 hours for something that should have been in-and-out. I talked to a co-worker about the wait and they told me that I should check my dashcam to see what was going on. I did exactly that and to my dismay it was shown that once my car was taken in- it was parked in a dark indoor lot with no machines around for over an hour and then moved to a different spot in the dark indoor parking lot for an extended period of time. It was then finally taken to the service portion of the center but just to be parked and left until someone changed the sticker. Keep in mind - this is a scheduled appointment. I wasn't a walk-in and they understood that I was waiting in the waiting room for this inspection to be completed. I then had made an appointment online to have my vehicle serviced for the 10k and engine oil change standard servicing. I requested a loaner vehicle and then also messaged the bmw support chat to make sure that a loaner would be made available. I was assured that a loaner would be available and that if it wasn't that a member of the service team would reach out to me that day to reschedule. I didn't recieve a call so I took time from my day to come bring the vehicle for the service to only be told that they do not have any loaners available. They told me that I could wait for the service to be completed but obviously given the way they handled waiting on my last visit - this wasn't a reasonable option. The service manager said there was nothing he could do but reschedule the appointment and that it was not 'his' error because I went through BMW's site and not through them directly... pushing the blame on someone else. In my family we have 2 BMW's from the Freeport location and a Mercedes from the dealerships parent company. Be smarter and take your business elsewhere before it's too late. More
