Whether I called or texted he always responded timely. He even advised he was at airport about to board a plane, but would get back to me first thing Monday morning. All in all, Alex’s expertise is the epitome of what the car buying experience should be. A great deal, handled by an experienced, reasonable and knowledgeable salesmen More

My salesperson was Keith Lindsay and he was truly a pleasure to work. I’m an attorney so I have to admit I’m not the easiest customer and I am not signing until I feel comfortable about a deal. Keith’s first priority was making sure I actually loved the vehicle. That was something that I truly appreciated and made me feel at ease during the entire process. It wasn’t about a sale. It was more about making sure his customer was happy with their purchase. BIG DIFFERENCE! I recommend BMW Freeport and I highly recommend Keith Lindsay! He communicates with you throughout the entire process, makes sure you are truly satisfied and never makes you feel pressured. Thank you Keith! And if you need a car, don’t even waste your time looking at a competitor. Go to BMW Freeport and ask for Keith Lindsay. More

My Last BMW I have never been compelled to write a review before my last experience. The dealership is very friendly and helpful. I had a good purchase expe I have never been compelled to write a review before my last experience. The dealership is very friendly and helpful. I had a good purchase experience and a fair deal was made on my new lease. The reason for the less than average review was for the lease return process and the absence of covered maintenance BMW previously offered which I found out at the closing desk. At lease return I was over mileage and I expected to pay for that. This amounted to about $500. What I didn't expect to pay for was the $3000+ in "Wear and Tear" on the vehicle. This was basically a few scratches on the front and back. No gouges, no dents. Only scratches. The lease return person picked apart every scratch he could find and added them all up. Before turn in I did a final maintenance (which was covered at the time) and I also replaced all 4 tires. $1000 installed. I also figured since in 20 years of leasing cars that I wouldn't be hit with this absurd lease end charge since I am leasing another one. Not the case. He handed me a 3K bill to sign and that was that. The dealer told me to fight the charges when I get the bill. My mistake. I should have killed the deal to maybe motivate them to drop the absurd charges. This was a last minute deal since I was out of town and my lease was expiring that day. I was left with little choice but to proceed or shop a new lease with another dealer. That meant MORE charges in disposition fees ect and losing the ability to try and negotiate the fees down by staying with BMW. Trying to negotiate these charges with BMW after the fact did very little. They took off $300. So after Sales/Use tax it was still $3000. So at the end of the day BMW no longer gives the free maintenance which I found out at closing when the finance guy tired to sell me maintenance. That and I got hit with a 3K bill at turn in. That along with the 1K in tires I put on before I turned it in comes to $111 more a month to own for 36 months. Never in 20 years of leasing have I had this happen. The car was basically pristine aside from a few scratches. No dings or dents at all! Lesson learned. BMW is obviously losing money so they removed the maintenance and now make you bend over at turn in to grab some extra money on their low lease prices. You may get a fair deal at closing but they will get their money later in maintenance and then at least turn in. For all those reason make sure you give yourself plenty of time to lease return and detail the car before you do. That and go buy a Mercedes. That's where I am going back to. Its a shame too because this review is not really a reflection of the sales and service I received at the dealership or the car itself. The manager and sales person were great. Given more time they probably could have made a better deal for me. The BMW lease return office that I was sent to by this dealer and the lease return process is the reason for the less than average review. Hopefully they fix it. More

The WORST Service for the Ultimate Driving Machine! Actually surprised that I even have to write a review like this but I think it's important that it's known how this service department treats their cu Actually surprised that I even have to write a review like this but I think it's important that it's known how this service department treats their customers. I have a 2017 430xi and when I first came for the first service I had such a great experience and was very satistfied with how the service was handled. The second time I came to the service center - it was for a NYS inspection. The estimated time to wait was between 20m-1hr and I figured it wasn't too long to wait. I waited for over 2 hours for something that should have been in-and-out. I talked to a co-worker about the wait and they told me that I should check my dashcam to see what was going on. I did exactly that and to my dismay it was shown that once my car was taken in- it was parked in a dark indoor lot with no machines around for over an hour and then moved to a different spot in the dark indoor parking lot for an extended period of time. It was then finally taken to the service portion of the center but just to be parked and left until someone changed the sticker. Keep in mind - this is a scheduled appointment. I wasn't a walk-in and they understood that I was waiting in the waiting room for this inspection to be completed. I then had made an appointment online to have my vehicle serviced for the 10k and engine oil change standard servicing. I requested a loaner vehicle and then also messaged the bmw support chat to make sure that a loaner would be made available. I was assured that a loaner would be available and that if it wasn't that a member of the service team would reach out to me that day to reschedule. I didn't recieve a call so I took time from my day to come bring the vehicle for the service to only be told that they do not have any loaners available. They told me that I could wait for the service to be completed but obviously given the way they handled waiting on my last visit - this wasn't a reasonable option. The service manager said there was nothing he could do but reschedule the appointment and that it was not 'his' error because I went through BMW's site and not through them directly... pushing the blame on someone else. In my family we have 2 BMW's from the Freeport location and a Mercedes from the dealerships parent company. Be smarter and take your business elsewhere before it's too late. More
Worst service person Had a service appointment scheduled for a recall part. Got there and was told to go straight to the service adviser Tracey Geraci. There was no order Had a service appointment scheduled for a recall part. Got there and was told to go straight to the service adviser Tracey Geraci. There was no order there, so I just waited in front of her and she snapped at me and told me there was a line. Ok fine, so I sat down and waited. When it was my turn, she was so unbelievably rude and condescending. Didn't tell me I had a loaner car scheduled, told me they wouldn't get to my car, and made me reschedule my appointment. When I was rescheduling with the front desk, the girl told me I had a loaner scheduled and I didn't really need to reschedule. Tracey came over to the front desk and confirmed to the girl that I would be rescheduling. OK thanks. Came back to my rescheduled appointment. This time, I sat down and waited for Tracey since she snapped at me last time. Again, no order to the place so she helped someone else who came after me. Great. She finally takes me and starts giving me a list of everything that's wrong with the car and that THEY need to fix. She was basically saying that I was going to crash and DIE if I didn't let Mini fix the car. Great. I kept saying no, that I just wanted the recall part fixed and that I would have my mechanic take a look at it. And she tells me that mechanics don't know how to do these repairs. Pretty sure mechanics can change tires and fix oil leaks. The woman was basically trying to scare me into getting all these up-charges, ON TOP of being completely condescending to me the entire time. Went to pick up the car. Again - saw she was with someone, so I sat and waited for her. She saw me sitting there, and decides to help 2 other people, leave her desk for 15 min, and then proceed to make phone calls in front of me. Customer service rule - you *always* help the person in front of you b/c they can SEE you. You deal with calls after. She wasn't even getting calls - she was MAKING them. You can help me first BEFORE making your calls. Finally, after an hour of waiting, I went up to ask her about my car. She handed me a piece of paper and told me to go get the car from the valet. REALLY?? You just had to give me a piece of paper, you saw me sitting there, and still made me wait. I want to deal with you as little as you want to deal with me. You could have just given me my paper right when you saw me, and we could have been done with each other forever. First time here -- never coming back. Honestly couldn't tell if she was racist or had whatever prejudice against me from the get-go, but she seemed to be nice to everyone else except me. By my third encounter with her, it was clear she was just being rude to me on purpose. Tracey Geraci was the worst service person I have ever encountered. Threats and condescension are great ways to treat customers. I would rather drive all the way to Westchester than to deal with her ever again. More
