Horrible Service & parts bought on Ebay Bought a used car and 30 hours later the check engine light came on. 2 weeks in the shop, poor communication and multiple phone calls with no return b Bought a used car and 30 hours later the check engine light came on. 2 weeks in the shop, poor communication and multiple phone calls with no return back, we find out that the parts ordered came from EBAY!! Only “genuine parts” for new cars that are under warranty by BMW so they cover the expense. Cutting corners to save the dealership! Service is so poor, I don’t know where to start? Lying to customers, resetting check engine lights, without doing the repair work, putting used car on lot without doing repairs that were needed after previous trade-in, no return phone calls, they keep passing you to the next person with no answers. This company does not represent The BMW service we have had in the past. All the preceding reviews before me, are all correct! I concur completely! Go to Naples or Sarasota BMW, or anywhere else, but here. More

I drove from pompano beach, florida to pick up this vehicle. When we got there it was just transfered from another dealer so the check engine light was on. So they give us a rental for the week till the car is repaired. Next saturday the 25th we drive back up to get the car. The check engine light was still on but they were saying that the problem was fixed and they just forgot to clear the code. Thats the first lie, driving it home i take it to a bmw dealership i trust and found out it was vanos solenoid 1 causing the lack of power and cel on. Not only that but there was a ton of fluid leaking from the pinion seal. A tech at bmw apparently did an oil change on it and couldnt see that leak? Talk about lack of experience. Now i called 3 days straight and all i get is ill call you back which they never do. They were only polite till you sign that car contract. Stay away. More
Failed to fix damaged done by the dealership to my vehicle I purchased a used Audi S6 from the dealership and everything went well until the cleanup done during final inspection. (After I had already signed fi I purchased a used Audi S6 from the dealership and everything went well until the cleanup done during final inspection. (After I had already signed financing papers and we owe list) They brought the car back from detailing and somebody had obviously dropped a door or equipment on the car. Denting the roof, A Pilar and putting marks in the surround of the front window). They said they would take care of it that it was the fault of the detailing dept and to add it to the we owe list. They also said that their paint and trim people were only available on Thursdays and that it would take a couple weeks to order the trim in. I was not able to schedule a time to bring the vehicle in right away due to my travel schedule and the process of ordering trim. When I did schedule and return to the dealership I was told it was past the 30 day we owe list disclaimer and I was out of luck that it would be on me to fix it. I demanded to see the used car manager which I did and reminded him that he had limited me to only Thursday’s and that it had not been 30 Thursday’s and that the damage had been added to the we owe disclaimer after I had signed it. He encouraged me to leave and took my information and promised to research and get back with me. To this day I have not heard back. I decided it was not worth my time to sue the dealership and sealed the $1100 in repairs myself. I would avoid the Sonic used car dept at all cost based on my experience. More

Fact: April 30, 2018 the engine seized Fact: car was towed to BMW Fact: 4 days later I was notified of the seized engine. I was told there was metal shavings in the oil filter. I was told it could have been a faulty fuel injector or broken bearing rod. Fact: at no point in time did BMW ask me what happened during the initial breakdown. Fact: there was no metal shavings in the oil filter. The fuel injectors were in perfect working order. Bearing rod was not broken. Fact: fault codes were never generated by BMW or so they say. Fact: fault codes were generated by a second opinion certified mechanic. Fact: fault codes all pointed to water pump failure. Opinion: very convenient for BMW to not have run the fault codes considering they led directly to a system they worked on just 4 days earlier. Fact: I cannot prove BMW caused the water pump failure. Fact: I can prove that BMW severely misdiagnosed the issue. Fact: I can prove that BMW lied about metal shavings in my oil filter Opinion: BMW service department will never be trusted ever again. Based upon my inquiries around town I am not the only one with these feelings. Fact: BMW confronted with all of the above. Fact: Their response was we don’t care and it really does not matter about the metal flakes. Nor does it matter they misdiagnosed the issue. More

Despite indicating that I was very interested in the car and would be buying one in the next week never heard from him again (and he had my email). This is supposed to be a luxury brand? Can not imagine what servicing my vehicle would be like. Went with another brand and was treated much better . More

I had a very nice salesman, but took much longer then it should have to actually close the deal. They close at 3pm, but at 6pm I was just signing the paperwork. I opted for the protection package, which is thousands of dollars, and Joe picked up the phone to call back to tell them to apply the protection product. 20 minutes later my car is ready to take home....how was all of that applied so quickly I thought...Additionally, I had a vanity plate on my leased Mercedes that I wanted transferred to the BMW and I only needed a temporary or paper plate until I turned in the Mercedes...his response was "I am the DMV...I already have a plate on your BMW" Now that the Mercedes is turned in the Tax Collector said it will cost me $225 to transfer the plate, however the dealership could make that change for me with no charge....they refused. Oh, and the protection was never applied. When I asked two weeks later they offered to "re-apply" it but since they told me it takes 2 hours to complete the service I know it was never applied to begin with. I would say it's a bit of consumer fraud on that issue. BUYER BEWARE More

The finance department is This dealership is a disgrace! They took advantage of a young man (With a disability)who bought his first car on his own. The finance department is a joke ! The finance person whose name is Chris sat there and grilled my kid to purchase a ding and shield protection plan and a key protection plan for $900 ,Charge $800 for a pre delivery service charge on a car he purchased that has 103000 miles on it! And cost $20,000!!!!! The car went into service a few days after purchasing it for a gasoline leak ! (SO MUCH MORE !!) So they claim to do a hundred and one inspection??? It's very sad reading the contract that my son signed with BMW of Fort Myers. My kid came home to surprise me to show me what he's done on his own. when I read the contract I cannot tell you the sadness. The disappointment of what people have become today. lies robbing the Innocents with no remorse even for those that are handicap!!!! SHAME ON U!! More
Took a delivery of a brand new car that is unsafe to drive. I took a delivery of a brand new 2018 BMW M3 at BMW of Fort Myers from Troy Arch (Sales Manager) last January 13. On the way back to Jacksonville with I took a delivery of a brand new 2018 BMW M3 at BMW of Fort Myers from Troy Arch (Sales Manager) last January 13. On the way back to Jacksonville with my Mom the ride was extremely rough. The car would vibrate and bounce as if there is no suspension at all. We both got home with back pain and neck pain. I did some search on the internet and found out that rough ride can be caused by shipping blocks left on the suspensions. So I checked the suspension on my car and there they are large plastic blocks left in all 4 suspensions. This dealership negligibly did not remove the suspension blocks and gave me a car that is unsafe to drive for 370 miles and that could have endangered our lives and damaged the car. I took the car to our local BMW center to remove the suspension blocks and check for any damages on the suspension. I paid $150 for the service. I reached out to BMW of Fort Myers and they totally ignored my emails and phone calls. They don't want to admit their fault and won't even reimburse me for the $150 I spent to fix the car. This is very disrespectful to me as a customer. Ignoring their fault that may have caused serious damages to the car and possibly endangered lives is very unacceptable. More
