If you need to get your BMW serviced or repaired, go see Allen Capaldi at BMW of Fairfax. This guy is awesome. He will listen, he will respond, he will call you, and advise you. He's the best service advisor I've ever had at any dealership. The maintenance techs are equally great. I've used Dan to service my X5D. He knows his stuff, will come out to talk to you about repairs and explain all maintenance. Both these guys are very concerned about customer satisfaction. I really get the feeling that they work on behalf of the customer. You can't go wrong with them and with the general attitude at the service department. All have been absolutely terrific. More

When I relocated into the area and was looking to purchase, I had a very pleasant BMW experience-- notably with Rey Wolmers. During the initial search to purchase a new car, I was working with several BMW distributors and when it came down to a selection-- BMW of Fairfax was the clear dealership that I wanted to work with. From the beginning, Rey Wolmers worked patiently yet relentlessly to make sure that I had all of the information I needed in order to find the perfect car for me-- he was anything but a typical "car salesman." Even with complicated, cross-country paperwork, he made sure to seamlessly handle all of the details for an easy and pleasant purchase. He answered calls at 7am and even came in on his day off. Once the paperwork was completed, the rest of the BMW of Fairfax staff were such a pleasure to work with even if the appointment ran late and after their closing hours. I fully appreciated their efforts to keep in touch after the purchase, and their efforts at improving their service through surveys and follow up by Rey. I have since purchased another car from the dealership and have recommended the dealership to several colleagues. More
This was the 2nd or 3rd Lease I've done with James Duerbeck and he is the best. His knowledge and expertise makes me feel comfortable and the overall experience much more pleasurable. BMW of Fairfax Duerbeck and he is the best. His knowledge and expertise makes me feel comfortable and the overall experience much more pleasurable. BMW of Fairfax does a great job of taking care of their customers from the second they walk through the door and stay with you every step of the way. James, specifically, has helped me with everything from being the liason between BMW Financial and myself (and helping knock off a few dollars for wear and tear, I might add) to making himself available to me for help with learning how to use controls in my cars and answering all of my stupid questions. He really knows what he's doing and has even possibly turned my Father in to a future customer. James Duerbeck makes BMW of Fairfax look superb with his professionalism and knowledge, and I will be a continued customer because of that. I will also refer him to others in a heart beat. More
We went to this dealership Thanksgiving weekend to look at a used BMW and Audi. We came back the next day to test drive the AUDI (which had increased in price by $1,000 overnight) and really liked the car at a used BMW and Audi. We came back the next day to test drive the AUDI (which had increased in price by $1,000 overnight) and really liked the car. My husband doesn't come to the table very easily but really liked the car. Mr. Zelkin who was rude and dismissive from the start was completely unwilling to negotiate on any level. He promptly stood up and walked away from us without any further discussion of how we could arrive at a deal. Thank you BMW of Fairfax for the lousy service, it motivated us to go to another local dealer and purchase the car of our dreams. How do you people stay in business? The only way to get through to businesses like this is to NOT patronize them. More
In case if you haven't noticed, all of the good rates are for people who bought a new car from them. The company added $4,000 to my loan. Then they registered my vehicle to the wrong address so my excise tax for people who bought a new car from them. The company added $4,000 to my loan. Then they registered my vehicle to the wrong address so my excise tax never got to the right address. Now I have to pay over $200 just in late fees because of their reckless mistake. On top of everything I have already had to trade in my car due to too many mechanical problems and emptying out my checking account. Do NOT buy from them! More
I regret purchasing my car from that dealer and I wouldnt recommend it to others. These people are bunch of liars who tell you something before buying your car and once you proceed with the purchase, they recommend it to others. These people are bunch of liars who tell you something before buying your car and once you proceed with the purchase, they will ignore any concerns or any problem you might have with the car claiming that they did not know about these problems. Initially they told me that the car had been thoroughly inspected inside out and they guarantee every thing and if there will be any problem they will take care of it.They told me that this car had never been in any accident as well. I noticed a lot of vibration with application of the brakes and CD player quit working. We took the car to local authorized dealer who was able to figure out and fix the problem within 1 hour of the car inspection process and turned to be front bearing deformity secondary to previous car accident that was easily obvious to them and also both front and rear brakes had to be replaced. I did pay the bill for the those repairs. I tried to reach the general manager(John Hayes),severl times and I left him 3 messages to call me back about problems with the newly purchased car,but he never called me back. Finally ,I was able to reach him and I told him about the problems we had with the car,he changed his previous statements about the top condition of the car and told me that they are not responsible for any thing that we encountered and they are not going to pay for anything. Again, stay away from that dealer. More

I bought a 2008 Z4 from Fairfax BMW in Feb 2009 with about 25000 miles left on the warranty. I took the car to service in April 2010 and told them the car was pulling to the right. Supposedly they com about 25000 miles left on the warranty. I took the car to service in April 2010 and told them the car was pulling to the right. Supposedly they completed a front end alignment, not covered under warranty, so after paying I asked for a copy of the alignment paperwork. Before leaving the dealership I questioned why the specs were basically the same after the alignment as they were before but they had no explanation. The next day I left a message for the service manager, who did not call me back. I called again the next day, no return call. After I left a detailed message for the manager of the dealership, the service manager called back and offered me a full refund even though he was confident that the alignment had been completed. In August 2011 the car was in for service again and an alignment was again completed, along with all new brakes and new tires. The brake light came on last week, just 1700 miles after the car was out of warranty. This Saturday, 11/12/11, I scheduled an appointment and after waiting approximately 4 hours I was told that the brake sensor was bad and that the car was pulling to the right and they were concerned that the frame was bent so they wanted to send it to the body shop. I was disgusted, they mentioned no problem when they sold me the car, no problem when the car was under warranty, but when it was no longer their responsibility to repair they found the problem that I reported for the last two years. Buyer beware of this dealership and service department. More
I bought a used $45 SUV from this dealer and they spoke a big game about "reviewing the car" and being a "top shelf" dealer. They delivered the car to me with only one key, brakes that were worn to the bo big game about "reviewing the car" and being a "top shelf" dealer. They delivered the car to me with only one key, brakes that were worn to the bone and a car with severe electronics problems. All could have been dealt with but they misled me and lost my trust. After reading these reviews I am another "bait and switch" sucker at this dealer. Chris Shumway, the sales manager, is to be avoided at all costs. I called to see if they would make it right and they were so rude. Good luck out there. This place is not where you want to buy a car. More
