Love my new X5 It was time to replace my 11 year old BMW so I called James Duerbeck, who we purchased a BMW from a few years ago. It was easy to set up an appointmen It was time to replace my 11 year old BMW so I called James Duerbeck, who we purchased a BMW from a few years ago. It was easy to set up an appointment for a test drive. We took a 2016 X5 out for a spin and after James thoroughly explained the options and worked the numbers (which were the lowest in the area), I decided to buy a new X5. It only took 2.5 weeks for my new vehicle to arrive at the dealership. When I picked it up, James spent about an hour going over all the features on the car, which was very helpful because a lot had changed from my old X5. He even programmed the memory buttons with the more common features people use (to include his phone number if I had any questions). The paperwork process took some time, but it actually was a pleasant experience. It was very efficient and the lady who was processing the paper was very friendly. James also contacted me a few days later to see if I had any questions on my new vehicle. The customer service at BMW of Fairfax is superb and we will definitely go back next time we’re in the market for a new BMW. More

James is very knowledgable -- he knows the BMW product really well and takes plenty of time to thoroughly explain all features, which was helpful when we took delivery of the car. He also had the car set up with convenient options and settings. He's been helpful with follow-up questions. Overall a great experience - we'll likely come back to James for our next BMW. More

We got lucky enough to meet with James Duerbeck who provided the best customer service (from what we wanted until we left dealership with a new vehicle). He totally impressed us with a knowledge and passion for cars. We were told facts only, what was the best option for our needs at a reasonable price. James didn't mind staying after hours to ensure we were taken care of and he did an amazing job! I would strongly recommend BMW Fairfax dealership as our personal experience with Alexandria and Rockville wasn't pleasant at all. (felt like bothering sales managers with our questions, tried to close the best possible deal for them from original car appraisal until new vehicle pricing, etc). More
Tried to change price and terms of lease I saw a special labor day offer on a leftover 15 BMW 5 series that was already punched in service. After a few back and forth emails with the sales dept. we agreed on price, money out of pocket to start and monthly payments. Placed a deposit over the phone and applied at BMWFS who immediately approved my application. Was called back by the dealership and was told that BMWFS did not approve me unless I put quite a bit more money down, and my payments would be $70+ higher than what I originally agreed to with the same cap cost reduction. After saying I was not interested in the new numbers and wanted to stay close to the numbers I agreed to earlier, they told me I had to put more down regardless but my payments would then be $35 higher than the original offer. They markup the MF from .0013 to .0018 and will not budge on that. They were unwilling to make a deal work, with a take it or leave it attitude. So I asked for my deposit back and will be going to another dealer. Too many good dealers that will not mark up the MF and try to change the deal at the last minute, that don't make it worth fighting this one. Since I am out of state, I was to fly in the next day to take delivery, seems they were hoping I would just agree to the new price and pad their profits by $58/month due to the increased MF, that's over $2000 profit on the backend for the dealer. Contacted BMWFS who said my application had no stipulations and that I did qualify for base MF, but that it was up to individual dealer to give it to me or not. Shame, as I liked the car and had great interactions with Jordan in Sales. More

Because in our last experience a BMW dealership their services was always excellent. When my husband deployed for a year in a half I never felt taking advantage of it because of my circumstances. Before I left I told Mr. Jerrell Latham thank you so much. Because of this experience I would never ever buy BMW again. Thank you again Fairfax Services More

328 I wagon Went into the dealership on a Monday evening to test drive a 2008 328i wagon. Agreed to purchase the vehicle and agreed on a price for my trade in. The salesman "Sam" stated that they could not complete the financing end of the deal because of the time. It was early evening around 700pm when we agreed on the deal. The agreement was for the dealership to complete the paperwork on Tuesday morning. I was lead to believe that the sale would be completed Tuesday evening. I called Sam around one o'clock on Tuesday and he told me that I was being processed. I called at four pm and he told me the car had been sold to someone else. I would not blame the salesman. I got the impression that this was a management failure. They pulled my credit and then tried to sell me a 335 xi for almost 5 thousand more. The 328 wagon is hard to find so I might have to do business with this dealership in the future. More
