Sir I apologize for what must be poor service or communication by my staff. No one changed the terms. Everyone qualifies for the money factor buy rate. And every dealer can mark it up if that is how they choose to structure the deal. I don’t think there is any need to air the BMW Financial Services stipulation of only approving you on a much less expensive car….via social media. As for the money factor mark-up: There are many ways for a dealer to structure a deal. We choose to sell the car for less than anyone else because the taxes will be less and the unpaid balance will be less by sacrificing profit on the front end and marking up the money factor. I am happy to break down the exact profit on any aspect of the sale that you would like to see. There is no other dealer on the planet more transparent than BMW of Fairfax. Based on the fact that you are willing to come all the way from Florida, you have already learned through your diligent research that our pricing is the best, by a long shot. If your dealer does not mark up the money factor then they are going to sell the car to you for much more than I am. But you have already learned that by now. Again, my team failed to explain all of this in the proper manner which is why you are upset. I will relay this to my team in hopes of not repeating the same mistake. I appreciate your input.
