The car buying process can often be stressful and time consuming. Finding the right car is not easy and it's even harder to find the right dealership to work with. BMW of Fairfax made the process very eas consuming. Finding the right car is not easy and it's even harder to find the right dealership to work with. BMW of Fairfax made the process very easy for me. Here's why: · Honesty - car dealers can often be deceptive when trying to sell you a vehicle. I never got that feeling working with anyone at BMW of Fairfax. They simply presented me with the facts and provided some recommendations (not based on their best interested). I decided to lease an EV due the available credits and discount. While most dealerships will tell you to put money down to make your monthly payments lower, doing so is not in your best interest unless interest rates are insanely high - in which case, you should not be leasing. In the event that your car is in an accident, you also risk losing that down payment amount as insurance only cover the value of the car and not what you paid. · Transparency - many dealers I have worked with are usually hesitant to show you details on lease or purchase figures. For example, some dealers will not provide you with a printout of their lease quotes and say that the information is for internal use only. BMW of Fairfax however, was happy to provide all the info I requested, which allowed me to be able to review it, make an informed decision, and be comfortable with the decision I made. · Knowledgeable - I ask lots of questions and everyone I worked with at BMW of Fairfax was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle, the leasing process, and other topics in the car buying process. I've had some other dealers deflect questions because they didn't want to disclose certain details or in some cases just make up answers because they didn't actually know or because they were trying to be deceptive. This goes back to the first two points about honesty and transparency. · Customer-oriented - I never felt any pressure through the purchasing process. I was presented information and options for warranties/coverage, but there was never any sales push or tactics to try to convince me to get something I didn't need. Everyone was very responsive whether it be in-person, via email, or phone. The entire staff was friendly and very approachable. · Detailed website - the BMW of Fairfax website had all the details I needed to research which vehicle I wanted to purchase. All vehicle specs and options were easy to find and well organized. You can get an initial idea of trade-in values and what prices may be for different options such as financing, lease, or cash purchase. And a variety of contact options - chat, text, email - are available if you have questions. · Competitive Price - all the above factors wouldn't matter if prices were higher than competitors. In fact, BMW of Fairfax gave me their best quote right up front and it was better than most competitors in the area. There was no need for me to haggle back and forth. And they're transparency in allowing me to see the full quote sheet and analyze all the numbers myself made it even easier. I've now purchased more than 10 vehicles and my experience with BMW of Fairfax was the best one I've had. Every car I have purcahsed has been with different dealerships, but based on my experience - it's highly likely that my next one will be with BMW of Fairfax.
