I found a 2014 Mini Cooper Countryman with beige leather I was really wanting. So I start speaking with a Salesman and he says just so you are aware, there are two options already installed on the vehicle o I was really wanting. So I start speaking with a Salesman and he says just so you are aware, there are two options already installed on the vehicle one being a GPS vehicle tracker and another is 3M paint protectant to prevent from getting scratches on the door. I said well I'm paying cash, do not want those items and don't believe it should be anybody's right to track my vehicle. He said he completely understood but they're already installed. I would much rather live in California Over Texas but this is where Texas is better. In Texas, if the purchaser of the vehicle does not want that, it legally cannot be left on the vehicle. So for them to do that whether the purchaser want it or not is Shady. That's horrible to treat people that way. We just want to add some junk stuff on that you don't want and you're going to pay for it even though we as a dealership are the ones who wanted those options on the vehicle. So their interest is about what THEY want & NOT treating a potential customer with respect by not FORCING the CUSTOMER to pay for DEALER wanted junk. Dealers who act that way are absolutely unacceptable & it is inexcusable, ESPECIALLY for a BMW dealership. You don't order coffee and have a person behind you pay for it. That's ridiculous. I'd only that, according to California law, it's not legal without the purchaser and therefore owner's consent. I am a cash buyer & would then own the car outright & as new owner, would not provide consent. Stay far away! More

I was Interested in trading in/selling my vehicle when BMW of Escondido reached out to me with an offer. After driving over an hour away, and waiting 6 hours at the dealership, they informed me they would BMW of Escondido reached out to me with an offer. Would never recommend this dealership, time is very expensive, and your time is not worth waisting at this dealership. More

They were very no nonsense and listened to my concerns. It was an overall good experience. The one down side was having to purchase the already installed anti theft system.
