Every I recently purchased a CPO 328i from Brecht BMW. Their folks treated me as if I were purchasing a new top of the line BMW 750, not a used car. Everything was truly terrific about the buying experience. I'd like to just highlight a few people that I worked with on this. * Richelle Wolleson: Richelle became involved by letting me know the process for lease end on my MINI Cooper S, which I leased from Brecht three years ago. During this extended email conversation, I mentioned that I might be interested in a CPO 328i. I think she went out of her way to make sure that all of my questions were answered, helped me find the right car at the right price, made sure that car would be ready to drive this past weekend and helped me find a sales representative to assist me once I came in for a test drive. Richelle was always very prompt with any replies to my questions and really helped to smooth the way forward towards my purchase. I really appreciate her help. She's the reason why I finally came to Brecht for this car. * Sean Quinn: I think this is the "Sean" that helped me at Brecht with the test drive and sales process. There is also a Sean at MINI who helped me originally buy the MINI and helped this past weekend with lease closeout. Sean at BMW was great to work with. We went on a test drive in the car where he explained all about the various features and benefits of the car. Sean was easy to talk with and was completely not trying to pressure me into anything which I truly appreciate. I've walked out of dealerships before that tried the hard sell approach. Regardless, Sean stayed with the process from the moment I was introduced by Richelle until after the sale where we had to pick up floor mats (even volunteered to install them) and set up my bluetooth phone. I declined both since I need to learn about my new BMW myself. I would highly recommend Sean to anyone who wanted to buy a BMW from Brecht. * Dan in finance (couldn't remember his last name): Dan was great in making the finance piece of this quick and totally painless. I couldn't ask for anything more. Dan was very friendly and made me feel totally comfortable with a process that elsewhere has been quite stressful. * Moe: I think Moe is the sales manager. Near the end of the process, even Moe was helping out with things like finding extra keys and user manuals for the car. Amazing. I had the pleasure of meeting Tim Brecht on Saturday while buying this car. He was in the lobby talking motorcycles. I had no idea who he was at the time, but we were discussing the attributes of the bikes and he mentioned that he owned them and then introduced himself. I don't know if Tim is active in the management or ownership of Brecht BMW, but if so its obvious that the friendly, helpful and down to earth nature of everyone at Brecht is probably the result of the management style from the top. I was in sales forever, so after I narrow down the "what" to buy, I move on to the sales person I buy it from. Bad sales technique = No Sale! Richard Nims at Brecht BMW was awesome! Easy going, extremely per to buy, I move on to the sales person I buy it from. Bad sales technique = No Sale! Richard Nims at Brecht BMW was awesome! Easy going, extremely personable, and no hype or pressure to "close the deal". Been back twice with questions and he was always happy to help! Great asset to their team! More
I stopped by Brecht BMW to window shop after work last week. I really had no intention of buying a car from them but I came across a 2004 530i that caught my eye. It was in fantastic shape and seemed li week. I really had no intention of buying a car from them but I came across a 2004 530i that caught my eye. It was in fantastic shape and seemed like a great buy so I asked Rich if I could take a test drive. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the product. After driving the car I decided to buy it. The dealer was willing to come off of their asking price (which mirrored Blue Book suggested retail). After having the vehicle for a few days I am very satisfied so far. This is my first European vehicle ever and first used car since the 90s! I would recommend Brecht to anyone looking for a BMW. The sales manager, Mr. Hoye, and finance manager, Linda, were very helpful as well, and not pushy. More
I worked with salesperson Grady Griffith, and he was great. He was knowledgeable of the product, flexible in his time schedule, very customer-service oriented and seemed to advocate on my behalf with hi great. I decided to buy a certified used 328I and stopped by two local dealerships in OC. They were helpful but did not have the car color my wife wanted. In traveling to San Diego for business I called Brecht an local dealerships in OC. They were helpful but did not have the car color my wife wanted. In traveling to San Diego for business I called Brecht and made an appointment with Client Advisor Richard Nims. He had a car I was interested in and provided the information I needed in a consultative manner without the feeling of sales pressure. I gave him my pricing guidelines and he worked out a deal that was competitive to anything offered including the Costco program I was investigating. In addition, Richard helped us set up the BMW .9 percent financing available at the time. The most important reason I would recommend Brecht came after we drove the car home. In the late afternoon my wife turned the car toward the sun and discovered the windshield had a lot of micro chips. These were very small chips and not easily visible at other times. I called Brecht and sent a couple pictures of the problem. Richard called me back and said they would cover the cost of replacement. I received their check three days after submitting the bill. In addition to Richard Nims, I also received very professional support from Client Advisor, John Walker, and Kim Lovett in the finance department. Based on my experience with Brecht, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a car. More
After searching for a number of months I finally purchased my first BMW, 2007 335i coupe from Brecht. The right vehicle at the right price was my goal, and Brecht delivered with excellent customer purchased my first BMW, 2007 335i coupe from Brecht. The right vehicle at the right price was my goal, and Brecht delivered with excellent customer service. Richard was charming and accomidating to work with and really focused on my overall enjoyment and interest in the vehicle. The whole negotiation process was expeditious and fair. The financing portion was thoroughly explained and a smooth transaction. This was a quality experience unlike many quota like experiences I've had in the past from other dealerships. I would buy from this dealership again - More
This is easily the most unpleasant car dealer and service I have ever experienced. For example, just this minute I've been on the phone for 3 minutes. The phone has rung over 25 times, but no one has answe I have ever experienced. For example, just this minute I've been on the phone for 3 minutes. The phone has rung over 25 times, but no one has answered. I need warranty service. My car is 1 year old and the power windows don't work. If I did want a loaner car to use while they fix my broken car, this dealership will insist that you give them a credit card - as though purchasing the car was not enough investment. I wish I had asked for THEIR credit card when I bought the car. After all, warranty is an outstanding obligation, and they do everything possible to make it hard to get your car serviced. Once my warranty is out, I will find an independent BMW Certified Master Mechanic to work on my car. This dealership will never get another nickle from me. The buying experience should have tipped me off. I wanted a manual transmission car. The salesman aggressively tried to sell me an automatic off the lot. Eventually, he stopped returning my calls and I had to visit the Sales Manager to get any sort of attention. I should have simply gone to another dealership. More
I've leased many cars from Brecht BMW over the years. In fact, I live over 70 miles away and continue to return to the dealership over local dealerships for the overall experience they provide. When my fact, I live over 70 miles away and continue to return to the dealership over local dealerships for the overall experience they provide. When my leases come near their end date, they're ahead of the game, contacting me to let me know about the latest models and changes that reflect my tastes. They're efficient too. If I know the car I want before even visiting the dealership, they can get paperwork drawn up so I can literally sign and drive off the lot. But I almost always stick around long enough for them to bring me up to speed on the car's features. Service has been a snap too. If I'm in the area visiting family and have something that needs to be looked at, it usually gets taken care of in the same day. Service employees are always professional and ensure I understand what's going on every step of the way. Of course, since I don't live nearby many of my service requirements end up getting taken care of at dealerships closer to me. They ensure I get the right service from dealerships they have relationships with and circle back with them if I have a negative experience. However, it's important to note that BMWs don't need much service and mine have been no exception. More
I've purchased many vehicles in my days. I must say that my latest experience has been the best ever by far. I recently purchased a 2010 BMW 328i from Brecht BMW, Escondido, California. The ENTIRE TRANSAC my latest experience has been the best ever by far. I recently purchased a 2010 BMW 328i from Brecht BMW, Escondido, California. The ENTIRE TRANSACTION was hassle free. Hats off to Greg Rosenfeld for his outstanding customer service. Although Brecht isn't the closest BMW dealership to where I live (I live South County), I will drive the extra miles to get the oustanding service and deal which I deserve. A few years ago, I'd purchased a 325i from BMW of San Diego. They deal in large sales volume. The staff was somewhat stuffy, forceful and uninviting. At Brecht, the dealership is family owned and it shows. They go the extra mile to make the customer feel appreciated and it shows. I'll be back and will send my friends to Brecht. More
