What I was met with instead, was a warm welcome to the BMW family and people that knew how to do their job but still had fun doing it. My order took 10 weeks to start and finish and Erin Baayen, the sales person that helped me, was there from the beginning to the end. She provided updates with when it arrived to the US, when it came to the dealership, changing my order, and so on. She did all those things with the same enthusiasm I had for the car I was getting from there. More

Great dealership, great salesman When I was recently in the market for a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) BMW X3 I started looking at the websites for the dealers in my area. Although BMW o When I was recently in the market for a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) BMW X3 I started looking at the websites for the dealers in my area. Although BMW of Escondido was a 40 minute drive up the road they had a better stock of CPO X3s than the locals. After identifying several cars of interest on their website I drove up with my 86 year-old father to Escondido. The dealership is modern and attractive. We were soon offered beverages and introduced to Frank Garcia, our salesman. While I had some set ideas about the X3 I wanted, Frank showed us several to give me an idea of the options. This was quite helpful and changed my list of "must haves." During our time talking in the dealership, our test drives, and the discussion that followed Frank was great to work with. I suppose that to be a good salesman you need to be likeable (although I've found that is not the universal rule), and Frank met that requirement easily. Beyond that, he was open, not pushy in the least, and seemed to be genuinely concerned with what I wanted in a car. Although I ended up buying an X3 at a different dealership since I wanted an rarer model than is commonly found, I would not hesitate to go to BMW or Escondido to see Frank the next time I'm in the market. Had decided that the 750i with the M package was it for m Wife n I came in to make a choice. We had been to Lexus, Tesla, n 2 other BMW dealerships. Had decided that the 750i with the M package was it for me but didn’t enjoy the customer service at the other dealerships - maybe a 55 year old businessman isn’t their target market. When I found the model that I wanted, Joe was beyond helpful and I was very impressed with his ability to filter their inventory to match exactly what I wanted in less than hour. We went on a quick test drive and I committed to purchasing but it was getting late so they happily priced, provided financing options, gave me a one page credit app so when I arrived today, the entire transaction was basically seamless, spending less than an hour with “financing” (Cliff was great and their system is as paperless as possible). I’ve purchased from Range Rover, Mercedes, Ford, Volkswagen and Dodge (whew) and never had such a pleasant experience. If you’re buying a BMW, head to Escondido, ask for Joe, find your car and let Cliff get you out the door! A+! More
