During my initial telephone conversation with Gino Centofanti, Sales Manager at BMW of El Cajon, CA, I scheduled an appointment to discuss trading in my 2002 BMW which my husband and I purchased new from Cunningham BMW. However, I was so impressed with Gino’s approach that I called and rescheduled to an earlier date. Upon arrival, Shawn Deyzel, Client Advisor greeted and escorted me to Gino’s office. They were both very professional, courteous and most of all, they really listened to my needs in buying or leasing a new car. Since widowed 4 years ago, this was my first experience in making a new car purchase alone. Prior to marrying, my parents purchased my new cars and during my 35 years of marriage, my husband and I had purchased many new cars together. It was a very emotional experience without my husband by my side, however, everyone that I had the pleasure of coming in contact with at BMW of El Cajon helped make the process a lot easier! I was contemplating leasing versus buying since I no longer drive long distances. However, I was certain that I wanted another new BMW for its safety and reliability! My car was appraised and I was given information and pricing for both buying and leasing. I decided to lease and can honestly say that I appreciate that neither Gino nor Shawn pressured me in any way during the entire process! I also want to commend Ron Mangseth, General Sales Manager, who literally went the extra mile to obtain my car. My first visit to BMW El Cajon was on Wednesday, August 19th and would you believe that by Saturday, August 22nd, I was driving away in my shiny new 2015 Alpine White BMW 228i Coupe! In addition to Gino, Shawn, and Ron, I was tremendously blessed by and through everyone that I came in contact with at BMW of El Cajon! Ken Emmons, Finance Manager was professional and patient while reviewing the contract and additional warranties that may be of interest. Brandon “Product Genius” Watson was also professional, informative and courteous while explaining the latest BMW technology as it pertains to my particular car. However, the excellent and caring service that I received did not end with me driving away in my shiny new Alpine White BMW 228i Coupe (I purposely repeated) as I also received follow up calls and emails from Shawn and Cornelia Steinberg, Customer Relations Manager. Without a doubt, based on my outstanding experience, I would highly recommend that after reading my review that you call and schedule an appointment with Gino and Shawn. I assure you that you will not be disappointed at BMW of El Cajon, The ULTIMATE BMW Center for The ULTIMATE Experience! THANKS AGAIN AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!! More

This dealership has a little more of a "family" feel and I was very impressed with our salesman, Randy Grams, his honesty and attention to detail. I have purchased a lot of new and used cars throughou my life and have not typically been able to report a pleasant experience. There was no pressure, half truths or excuses. I knew what I thought would be a fair transaction and Randy and his sales manager, Gino (the bad news guy, who I typically never like), worked out a deal I felt good about and we drove away in our new BMW feeling good about the whole thing. David and Peter are AMAZING As we all know, buying a car is never fun. It is not something that we look forward to and for that it should be made as simple as possible. That is what Peter (the GM) and David (the Genius) did for me. The deal was not an easy one from the get go and we almost walked away from it more than once. That is where Peter came in. He came in as the closer on the deal and treated me with such amazing delicacy and respect that I felt like royalty. Being a full time nurse, graduate student and mother, Peter, understood my time constraints to take delivery of the vehicle. He arranged for David to meet me at my home and go over every nook and cranny of the car. Did I mention that it was David's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID!!! Thank you for sharing part of your big day with me and my new car. You two were amazing and really gave me the VIP treatment, I would expect from a luxury/performance line like BMW. What makes a genius a genius? I think the answer to that is that even if he can't solve the problem at hand, he won't be totally satisfied and may not give up on the first time at bat! That is exactly what happened with our problem. After trying to resolve our issue, David returned to us another time and this time figured out how to get our situation resolved!!! This was unbelievable. I was truly happy he had tried for 2 hours on his first visit! David is delightful, respectful, diligent..and if that means GENIUS...than that is the true definition of a genius at BMW. Thank you to everyone, especially Daniel Luker who always takes care of me! This time he sent David Ponce to the rescue.... More
