I had a really disappointing experience with BMW of El Cajon, and it honestly left me questioning their business practices. I scheduled service after seeing a clearly advertised $80 oil change special Cajon, and it honestly left me questioning their business practices. I scheduled service after seeing a clearly advertised $80 oil change special for new customers on their website. I’ve never been to this dealership before, so I assumed I qualified. However, when I arrived, I was told they would not honor the promotion because the vehicle itself had previously been serviced there under a prior owner. It felt misleading at best and deceptive at worst; especially after waiting 25 minutes past my 8 AM appointment just to speak with someone. This employee PURPOSELY signed my husband out of his lease, my husband is in the military they never received military orders and unlawful took our keys, they said we could not leave the lot with our ve lease, my husband is in the military they never received military orders and unlawful took our keys, they said we could not leave the lot with our vehicle because we “signed to end the lease” which is impossible WITH NO MILITARY ORDERS PROVIDED, they left us without a car when we have two little children, this employee specifically when I asked for his contact information purposely gave me someone else’s name, and lied, cussed me out in the store saying “I GOT YOUR CAR BACK TO YOU” when if that was so true why couldn’t I leave with my car that night.
