Screw up with my tire I have been using Thompson BMW service since I purchased by vehicle over 10 years ago. The service and the service staff have always been great. Recen I have been using Thompson BMW service since I purchased by vehicle over 10 years ago. The service and the service staff have always been great. Recently I needed a tire replaced. (I purchased 4 new tires 9/30/18, and with about 3,200 miles on them, one had a small gash on the sidewall. Of course it was about 1 month out of warranty, but no breaks to be given!) I ordered the new tire and scheduled the appointment. First, I waiting over two hours for what I was told should about an hour. Second, the bill was more that what I was quoted, even though I specifically asked if the price included everything: tire, mounting, disposal, weights, balancing, tax, labor... It was about $15 more and I let it go since it wasn't in writing. Shortly after I arrived home, my phone rang. Mike from service informed me that the WRONG TIRE was put on my car and I needed to bring it back! Obviously this was an inconvenience as I now had to go back to Doylestown, twice, to drop off and pick up again. While everyone was apologetic, I was very disappointed and inconvenienced, as I had to rearrange my time with my elderly mother in NJ.. More

Shop around I’ve had mixed experiences with this dealerships service. I’ve had numerous occasions where they recommended service that, upon a second opinion, was I’ve had mixed experiences with this dealerships service. I’ve had numerous occasions where they recommended service that, upon a second opinion, was not needed or could have been done using alternative options - like repairing a hole in a tire vs trying to make me buy new ones. I’ve begun looking for alternate service shops where I feel I can get better value for the service provided. More

Great experience I went from flatbed in to back to normal pretty smoothly. Of course BMW are very expensive so 2ooo.oo later and my car is fixed.
