Long time customer Service delayed days for parts. Not not understanding the importance of customer retention After purchasing my used car from Thompson BMW, I would call to bring in my Infiniti for service. The Thompson BMW Service team always seemed to be bo After purchasing my used car from Thompson BMW, I would call to bring in my Infiniti for service. The Thompson BMW Service team always seemed to be bother to give me an answer since it wasn’t a BMW or would quote me a ridiculous high price for services. This weekend my battery died and I knew it was replaced when I purchased my Infiniti a year ago. I called and spoke to a Service Advisor and asked if the battery could be cover (battery only), it would be prorate (I would pay the difference). I drove up to service department, I was told to replace the battery would be $260 , battery cost was $125 . After I decided that I would replace the battery myself . Was told by the advisor,Unless I allowed BMW service to replace the battery, thompson BMW Service would not get the prorated difference from interstate battery for me. I ordered the battery from BMW Service and waited for it and take it home and install the battery my self , later I would speak to my Salesman Dennis about the service team not willing to Prorate the battery w/o paying for service to replace the battery. I paid for the new battery and drove home and took out the interstate battery... it was the wrong battery! I purchased another battery and drove back to BMW again to return the wrong battery.I spent at least 4 hours waiting , driving back & forth to BMW and getting the correct Battery. I’ve had a great experience with the other Thompson dealerships with service. I was even appreciative when my car was still under warranty and I had a problem. I don’t understand why I can’t get treated better when I call for Service on my Infiniti and get a reasonable price for Service. More
