Reason for visit was periodic maintenance (oil change, etc). Was able to make an appointment for the next day. Car was ready same day as drop off. Separate: While the service required was part of the purchase price and was performed at no cost to me, BMW no longer includes windshield wipers in the periodic maintenance schedule.
