Outstanding purchase experience from start to finish for our X7! I have purchased many cars over the years and this might have been the most enjoyable car buying experience to date! I have to say that my experience has been very different from many of the reviews I have seen, maybe I am just the unluckiest person that has purchased a car there. It started with the salesperson Michael ( from many of the reviews I have seen, maybe I am just the unluckiest person that has purchased a car there. It started with the salesperson Michael (no longer there) provided a lot of misinformation during the sales process which made it difficult to move forward, but we did. Then finance was a real treat Christian (No longer there) also promised coverage that was not included in the warranty I wanted, he also dropped the ball and did not contract the correct coverage I specifically requested, which caused issues later on in service. Additionally in finance Christian made a mistake and issued the tag to the second position lien holder not me which resulted in me getting pulled over and informed that my tag was not only expired but improperly displayed due to it being the wrong tag. When I brought this issue to their attention they tried to charge me to fix the mistake they made. Mike the GM ate the cost and figured out how to rectify that situation (GO MIKE!!!) As for my experience with service it has also been unpleasant to say the least I have encountered even more misinformation when dealing with service reps. You don't have rim coverage oh wait you do .... you don't have tire rotation oh wait yes you do... no you dont and and this was the latest when speaking to my service advisor Andrew (still there) okay Andrew so we now dont have tire rotation on my policy how much in total will the rotation be I was told 59.90 I asked was that everything without taxes the answer was yes. Then of course when I go back to pick up the car there is an additional 7.19 added to the bill for a shop fee. Let me start this by saying I was not pissed about 7 dollars I was pissed that once again the information I was given was incorrect even when I asked the question specifically what was the total minus taxes he did not provide correct information. In closing it seems that different people are willing to give the first answer that comes to mind even if it is incorrect or completely wrong. I am not sure how this translates to good customer service as in my case has caused nothing but frustration and a poor buying experience. I did bring these points up in a meeting I had with Mike the GM and Alex the acting GM at the time of service today when I was there. And while it seems they are sympathetic to my concerns there seems to have been no corrections or modification to their policy and procedure for a good customer service experience at least NOT WITH ME. More
