We heard a strange noise while driving the vehicle. We dropped off the car and BMW of Darien’s Service Department immediately examined the car, diagnosed the problem and fixed the vehicle within 24 hou We dropped off the car and BMW of Darien’s Service Department immediately examined the car, diagnosed the problem and fixed the vehicle within 24 hours. Since the problem was covered by our warranty, we had the repair completed and a safety check free of all charges. The vehicle operated like a new car when we drove away. More

Service department is thorough, but the telephone system is difficult and Bill Skornanek, a “director of Service & Parts”, is not customer friendly. In early July, I made a service appointment for July 9 and was offered “valet” service (meaning car pick up and delivery). On July 6, the “valet” service would not be available. I agreed instead to drop off the car on July 8 and was promised that somebody would drive me home. When I arrived on July 8, maybe a few minutes past 6pm, Skorvanek said that neither he nor his two employees who were chatting with me could drive me home even though I live a 3 minutes drive from the dealership. I think skorvanek should be fired. More
