Service Dept Problems I recently contacted BMW of Columbus, GA to have a recall performed on my X3. They had been sending text messages to prompt me to bring the vehicle i I recently contacted BMW of Columbus, GA to have a recall performed on my X3. They had been sending text messages to prompt me to bring the vehicle in. I questioned in the text if they could do a pick up and drop off of a loaner and their response was "Not a problem, we'll make note of that in our system." That was on June 29, 2019 at 3:14PM per my saved text messages. A few days later, I called the "Recall Hotline" number listed in the top right-hand corner of their website to set up the appointment to have the work done. I asked again if they could do a pick up and drop off, because I live an hour from the dealership. Again, they said "not a problem." The day before my appointment rolls around and I reach out to the dealership to make sure everything is on go for the pickup/dropoff, and they tell me they will not be able to do that! So, I question why I was told on two separate occasions that this was "not a problem." Their answer was that "we don't do a valet on recall work." Really? The "Recall Dept" is the one who originally told me twice that it's "not a problem." I call and speak to the service manager, Michael Mayer, who arrogantly tells me that since I did not purchase my X3 from them, they will not do a "valet." He said they would go broke because it costs them $140 a pop to "valet." I can understand preferential treatment for customers who purchase from them. What I can't understand is telling a customer one thing and doing another. Nor can I understand a service manager who lacks skill communicating with people. Mr. Mayer has assured that I will neither purchase, nor service my vehicle at Columbus BMW of Georgia. More
Internet Purchase I worked with Stan and had a wonderful experience. I had spoken with several BMW dealerships in the Eastern US and after speaking with Stan I stopped I worked with Stan and had a wonderful experience. I had spoken with several BMW dealerships in the Eastern US and after speaking with Stan I stopped looking around and told him I would just work with him from this point forward to find my car! BMW of COLUMBUS is great! From the minute we drove onto the lot and met Jerome, everything was nice patient and professional. Never met a salesman I liked better. He helped us find just the right car for our family.Then to top that off he introduced us to Thomas, the guy that knows all there is to know about BMW’s. Talk about patience! Nicest car we’ve ever driven, and may never drive any other than BMW again. We love our new BMW X7. More

Outstanding Maximum service based on current warranty. I must extend my warranty (at cost) by year based on my financial standings.
