Disinterested I've been sitting in the service Dept waiting room for 2.5 hours, getting a state inspection done. I check my phone just now to see that ONE HOUR ago, Adam texted me of services needing to be performed, one suggested, one critical. So now, I have to come back to these losers (I live an hour away) because they're too lazy to walk five feet to speak to me. Last time I was here, it took their courtesy shuttle three hours to come collect me to bring me to my car. My lease is up in November. I'll be driving something else and no one will care. There's always another customer around the corner, isn't there? More

Per-owned car purchase I don't normally write reviews but the circumstances of this purchase compels me to do so. Two weeks ago I test drove a Lexus with Rick explaining all I don't normally write reviews but the circumstances of this purchase compels me to do so. Two weeks ago I test drove a Lexus with Rick explaining all the details of this wonderful car. Rick's cordial demeanor and knowledge of the vehicle made the test ride very enjoyable. Back in the office the negotiations for my trade-in and the Lexus began. After a few attempts to solidify the deal it was obvious we were miles apart. I left the dealership thinking that my three month search was going to continue. The following week Rick gave me a call to let me know that they wanted my business and presented a new set of numbers. I thought , wow this is something I can work with, but I had started negotiations with another dealer. In short that deal fell through so I called Rick to see if the Lexus was still available. When he told me it was I let him know that I would like to stop by that afternoon and complete the deal but I had concerns about some scratches on the back hood and a blemish on the rear bumper. Now, after these guys had lowered the price of the Lexus and increased the trade-in amount for my car they still agreed to address my concerns. I was shocked when I arrived at the dealership. The Lexus looked brand new. Kudos to everyone involved. More
They do not stand behind their product Our 2018 X3 broke down 3 times in less than 30 days after recall work on computer was done at their shop. We wanted to trade the car in because we lo Our 2018 X3 broke down 3 times in less than 30 days after recall work on computer was done at their shop. We wanted to trade the car in because we lost confidence in car. The sales manager said he did not want to buy it becuase "he did not want to get stuck with a piece of crap". We were also told by our salesperson that carmax pays more money than they do, we could try there. But, our car was in their shop so a bit hard to take to carmax. Not sure if repairs fixed it in the end, our service advisor said she thought it was a part, but "there are so many fault codes stored on your car it is anyone guess as to what is wrong" We traded in a 13 month old car with 9k miles and took a 1270$ loss to do so. If anyone should have come close to the residual value, especially given we drove less than the factored 12k per year, it should have been the dealership we bought it from Out sales person, Rick Marten, did a great job when we bought the car - it just went downhill in service & especially management at this dealership. I WILL tell everyone that wants to listen my opinion of this. If they would have just worked with me so we could get out of a car that left me stranded 3 times in a month, we could have parted as friends. Instead, they told me CSI was not part of their bonus monies anymore and since I was not purchasing another car from them that they did not need to step up and help out with the 1270$ delta. Lastly, when I tried to post something to their public facebook page they have a administrator that reviews posts and will only publish posts that are favorable to them vs honest customer reviews. I found BMW of Charlottesville on the web and called them. The service team found a tire, ordered it and installed in within a few hours to get her back on the road home, all with a friendly attitude. I was more than impressed. More
First New BMW After a great deal of research, my wife and I visited the Charlottesville dealership for a test drive of the 2019 440i xdrive gran coupe.We ended up s After a great deal of research, my wife and I visited the Charlottesville dealership for a test drive of the 2019 440i xdrive gran coupe.We ended up speaking with Rick Martens who was not only courteous, he knew his BMWs inside and out. Mr. Martens was relaxed in his approach which contributed to our excellent experience. Our 440i had to be special ordered, so a follow up review will probably be posted. However, there is no reason to think our first impression of the dealership will change. More
Awesome I did not qualify for a BMW however, my salesman Tim put me in a 2016 Toyota Avalon! Low mileage, like brand new. He was kind, he listened when I talk I did not qualify for a BMW however, my salesman Tim put me in a 2016 Toyota Avalon! Low mileage, like brand new. Love my new BMW X5! Me and my husband stopped in to see what they had. Nothing that I wanted, Rick searched for me at other locations and still could not found what I wan Me and my husband stopped in to see what they had. Nothing that I wanted, Rick searched for me at other locations and still could not found what I wanted. So he suggested let's have BMW build you one! How exciting! A little over 3 weeks later I had exactly what I wanted. Rick, Todd and Hector were so great! Awesome experience! If you are looking to purchase a new or used BMW or something else they may have on the lot go see Rick you can't miss him (he's 6'8"!) and has the most adorable accent ever. More
