I drove from DC to Charlottesville BMW soley because of it's A+ BBB rating and high customer ratings. I needed an inexpensive and very reliable used car for a family member. Camillo showed us what was on it's A+ BBB rating and high customer ratings. I needed an inexpensive and very reliable used car for a family member. Camillo showed us what was on the lot, but there wasn't anything that met the criteria. Therefore, he worked with the used car sales lady to search their sister dealerships' inventories. He called me as soon as he finally found what I needed. They both really went above and beyond for me. As a girl shopping for a used car, I cannot explain what a releif it was to have someone who respected my parameters (financial and overall car needs) and work so hard to help me get the right car. I highly recommend that you ask for Camillo. I never felt pressured to get something I didn't need, and he really provided me with a service rather than being a pushy salesman. It was a (rare) pleasant car-shopping experience. More

We have been told many times by the sales staff and management that it is critical that we are satisfied. We continue to receive excellent responsiveness after the sale. We have valued this experience and will be repeat customers. The BMW automobile is superior in performance and a treat to drive! I'm writing this review to report what an outstanding experience I had at BMW of Charlottesville. The sales person wasn't pushy and didn't try to convince me to buy a car that didn't meet my specificatio experience I had at BMW of Charlottesville. I've been to 4 BMW dealerships in the state of Virginia and this one ranks above the others. I was able to test drive a 2011 335i, get my trade-in appraised and negotiate an excellent deal; all in a couple hours. The price was much much better than other dealer's 'best' offer. The finance process was also very smooth and quick. When it was time to take delivery of my new car the sales manager and others came out to greet and congratulate me. Over all a great experience! My wife took her 2003 BMW 325i in for a routine oil change at 7:30 am on 11/23/2010. At first she was completely ignored by the service person in charge, but after several minutes, her service appoint change at 7:30 am on 11/23/2010. At first she was completely ignored by the service person in charge, but after several minutes, her service appointment was setup. I want to preface this by saying this car is in immaculate shape. She is the only driver - no one sits in the back, and it is only used 5 days a week for commute to work. After the last service trip, my wife notice that the rain gutter had been ripped from the rear door. Since no one uses that door, and since it happened immediately after the service trip, we can only assume that with the dealer inadvertently did it, or the people who wash the car after service. My wife picked up the car later in the day. The service person in charge said the rain gutter repair required replacing the front and back strip. If you look at the part, you will see that is a lie, as it is in two pieces, one for the front and one for the back. Further, when she picked up the car, she noticed that the interior lining above the window had been damaged from replacing the strip. She returned to the dealership later that day, to report the problem. Mr. Mobley, the service manager completely blow her off, stating there was no way the technicians would cause such damage. Further, he did not ever bother to come out to the car to see the problem. After insulting her in front of several customers, my wife left. As she was going out the door, Mr. Mobley whispered something under his breathe to another technician and they all proceeded to laugh at my wife. It was an insulting calloused experience, which has ruined all my ideas of having a BMW. I should go back and ask Mr. Mobley to step out and we handle it like men, for insulting my wife. and maybe by the time you read this, you'll also read about it in the local paper. More

I recently bought a 2007 BMW 750Li Individual from Crown BMW in Charlottesville, VA. This is the fourth car that I have purchased from this dealership in the past 6 years and I will return there for my next BMW in Charlottesville, VA. For this recent purchase, all I had to do was to tell Mike that I needed a unique car for my wife's 50th birthday. Last week, he was able to get me a unique car and he delivered it to our house on my wife's birthday! Needless to say, my wife has been on cloud 9 since her birthday. Not only are the sales persons great at this dealership, the general ambiance and the treatment that they give me always exceeds my expectations. Mike is among the best people in automotive sales industry; our other vehicle is a Lexus LS460 and so I have a comparison. More
I just wanted to take the opportunity to tell you what great service dept. staff you have. While traveling through the area, a fuse blew in my Z3. I got your number, called service and they told me to com great service dept. staff you have. While traveling through the area, a fuse blew in my Z3. I got your number, called service and they told me to come on over. (On a Saturday no less) Your crew wisked me in, replaced the fuse and had me on my way in under 10 minutes...And they say customer service is dead. Very simple. Every part of the experience from the test drive through the pick up of the X-5 M today could not have been improved upon. That is a rare thing indeed. Very "Family Like" experience. In the past years, we have purchased several new cars from Charlottesville BMW. The sales department is always a pleasure to visit and we have had good sales experiences each time we purchased a new car from Charlottesville BMW. There is always someone there to open the door and invite us in, even if we are only stopping by for a cup of coffee and to say hello. The last car we purchased was a 2009 BMW X6... it was sitting there on the showroom floor one day when we stopped by for a visit. Not really planning to buy anything.... when I saw that beautiful red car I told my husband, "I am taking that car home with me" He says, "I gotta have another cup of coffee" A few cups of coffee later and paperwork done, we were driving the "Beast" home. In our experiences, the BMW is the most enjoyable car we have ever owned. At Charlottesville BMW, everyone treats us like family. We are as pleased as punch that Mike Evans is back. We missed him. Thanks to all the guys and gals for such good experiences, and for keeping the coffee hot!! WAY TO GO!! Keep up the good work. More
