The Why you ask?.... I swore to myself about 6 years ago that I would never buy another BMW..... I bought a new 2007 BMW 530xi from Northwest BMW. The experience was so-so at best and the first two times I took it in for service/parts, I was not impressed. I don't even remember the salespersons name. I switched my service to Russel in the same year and was blown away by how nice the service team was and how they would be happy take over my service needs even though I did not buy it there. The lady that I most remember is still at Russel in service. (FYI, I did look at cars at Russel in 2007 but the salesperson someone referred me to was too busy to give me any attention). Anyway, back to my current experience... Rickie Catalan. became my regular service advisor when I needed service after Russel moved to its current location. He has always been very personable and helpful whenever I needed to come in. Probably the most unusual item he and the service team resolved for me was the passenger mirror parking tilt feature. Ultimately they were in contact with factory reps and maybe the factory too. It took some time to resolve, but they did not give up. So over time, Rickie and the service team won me over and my original regrets were replaced with positive thoughts. And although my 2007 still ran great, I saw there was the new BMW 650i Gran Coupe. I couldn't stop looking at it and researching it online. Then came Jeff Beck. I went to Rickie and said i wanted to talk to a salesperson. Although taken aback because the 2007 was running great, he took me to the showroom floor and found Jeff Beck available. First impressions were great and Jeff answered all of my questions and recognized/understood that I was in no hurry and was not concerned if we couldn't do business. And he never did give me any reason to give up on buying. We went on a test drive twice, the second time with my wife. (Had to win her over too and he/we did.). So we were about to make a deal on the 650i GC and Jeff discovered that BMW was about to come out with a new package on the M Sport version. He asked if I could wait a couple of extra weeks for him to order it, it would save me several thousand dollars. Yeah! Sure I could wait! So that we did and Jeff kept me up to date on the production and delivery schedule and I am now the happy owner of a Jeff Beck/Russel BMW 650i Gran Coupe! So here it is, a few days after driving it home, after parking it and leaving to go out of town. Can't wait to get home to start learning all of the new features. Oh! One last note. Prior to realizing the Gran Coupe existed, I went to a Porsche dealer with the thought of test driving one. They didn't even have a demo vehicle! I got the story of how they were dropping the engine size for 2014 and boosting the power of the V6 and I immediately lost interest. Audi's look great but their service history was questionable to me. And I never liked the styling of the Mercedes CLS. Score another win for BMW. Thanks! Bob Reese More

Every one at Russel BMW is a pleasure to know, I have had so much trouble with my old car, Cindy Hahn, my adviser, did all I expected and more to repair my car, then when I decided to purchase a used car, I so much trouble with my old car, Cindy Hahn, my adviser, did all I expected and more to repair my car, then when I decided to purchase a used car, I was introduced to Tony Roles, what a friendly person, we joked, bargained and just had a good time through the entire negotiation, everything went every smoothly with no pressure at all. Then I meet Pat, the finance lady, who explained everything to my understanding and she worked very hard to get me the additional coverage I desired, which I was anxious about because of all the current issues I had with my old car, she even worked extra hard to get me on the road in time for me to visit Popeye's before heading home in my newer BMW. Oh, I forgot to mention, Taylor, the mechanic you worked on my old vehicle, he took the time to explain everything that needed to be done and answered all my questions with the utmost concern and understanding. Russel BMW is A+ and I highly recommend them to anyone considering making a new or used purchase of their next BMW. Sincerely Michael Orlando 410-370-0351 MichaelaOrlando@gmail.com More
Ralph helped me with my acquisition of a 335i in January 2013. We just acquired a 128 convertible for my wife this past Saturday. Once again Ralph was there every step of the way, keeping me informed of status, working up the numbers and being responsive to all questions. This is my 3rd BMW and her first. I am very pleased with the cars I have acquired and the servicing of them over the years. Ralph is great to work with. He was willing to bring his wife's 128 in so my wife could see one. More
I wonder if the dealer is posting their own ratings on here because what's here sure does not match my experience, the most recent chapter of which is that after four months, and in spite of charging for here because what's here sure does not match my experience, the most recent chapter of which is that after four months, and in spite of charging for DMV service, they still have not gotten me my license plates. To be brief, the pre-owned sales manager Dane was a rude jerk, the car had safety problems it shouldn't have been sold with, and the DMV process has been a nightmare, including their first telling me the DMV paperwork was in process (a lie), then telling me I needed to go to the DMV and get a verification form and send it to them, which I did because it seemed like the least hassle. Now, after four calls over the past two weeks, I have not received a call back. Not what you'd expect form a high-end dealership! Dane lied to get me to sign all the paperwork that night and then did not care at all after the sale. Never buy a car from Dane or Russel BMW. More
Started by searching for a new car. Found a nice car and then read the reviews online. They were all true. The Sales Manager Dane was a big liar. He told me what I needed to hear to get me to sign on the do then read the reviews online. They were all true. The Sales Manager Dane was a big liar. He told me what I needed to hear to get me to sign on the dotted line. He lied every step of the way. Please consider buying a car anywhere but here. They are criminals. They lure you in and tell you what you want to hear then just tell you that you signed a contract and that is it! Buyer beware! Stay away from Dane and the entire Russel dealership. You have been warned and will be sorry More

The tec Very scary service department. 1. Have to go back 3 times to fix an oil leak. 2. After the 2nd visit, I asked to look at my car on the lift. The tech working on my 7 was literally a kid. I don't know if he is certified. But he didn't know what is leaking and could only guess, that's for sure. 3. They reuse the engine and transmission oil that drained out due to repair. 4. At the 3rd visit, I showed the foreman the service procedure from TIS which clearly stated "discard escaped fluid". 5. The foreman pretended he never heard of TIS and told me the procedure is not for BMW. 6. I asked the service manager (a very nice guy), I showed him the service procedure, he apologized and agreed to replace the fluids. But the CBS was not reset. 1500 miles later, I was prompted I need an oil change. 7. Check-in my car is no good either. All other dealers put on seat cover and floor sheet before they drive customer's car. Their tech just jump in and drive my 7 away, right in front of me with my jaw dropped. I mentioned this to the service adviser, he just murmured "yeah, they probably run out of seat covers" without even paying any attention. I treat my 7 like an "ultimate driving machine". The dealer treat it like a Hyundai..... Although it's 15 min from my house, will never go back to Russel. More
