I bought a gently pre-owned BMW X3 xDrive35i from Russel BMW on June 30th. I have nothing but praise for this dealership and especially for Tom, my sales person. This was a long distance transaction and I lucked out with one of the finest people one could meet. Tom was helpful and knowledgeable and went out of his way to check into the many things I could not do remotely. Tom helped me through a challenging import process and did everything that was required to make this a smooth transaction. He was also kind enough to pick me up at the airport and take me back to the dealership to finalize the transaction and meet the team at Russel BMW. In the middle of a power outage, we still managed to complete the transaction by going to a sister dealership to get some paperwork done. After a perfect transaction, and thanks to the power outage and early closing of the dealership, I got a fabulous tour of downtown Baltimore with Tom. I would certainly buy again from Russel BMW and I hope it will be with my salesperson. More

I had a very enjoyable experience w/ Tom (& then Joshua in finance). Tom was very professional, courteous & knowledgable. He explained all of my options, including leasing, and I was grateful to find out I had an alternative (that made sense) that made my new BMW more affordable. I did not purchase on my first visit as I had just started shopping. Tom followed up w/ me and addressed all of my questions promptly & professionally. I visited other BMW dealerships that were stuffy, if not arrogant, and I decided to go w/ Russel because of Tom and how comfortable he made me feel; the deal he made me was really good too. I'm sure I could have saved a few hundred more if I wanted to waste my time harrassing the other dealers but it just wasn't worth it. This is my first BMW and so far the experience has been everything I expected. More
I was looking, no longer am, for an upgrade to my current commuter auto. I stopped by Russel here on Rt. 40 to check out their inventory, boy oh boy did I get more than I bargained for! After spending maybe ten minutes walking around the lot, we were approached by Tom. An arrogant, pompous gentleman. I get you work at BMW, but we're all humans...knock it down a notch. After cracking a few jokes at the expense of my current car, he so generously allowed us to test drive a 3-series that he knew nothing about. At least know the price, miles, year, etc... I fell in love after the test drive, however this guy brought me crashing down. His constant rushing, nagging, and fowl language really made me want to escape the clutches of the dealership. Instead we were roped into presentations about leasing options, general BMW facts, stuff that I already knew and do not care about. After about two hours, we finally escaped. For the next two week, I kid you not, this gentleman bombarded my mobile with phone calls, voicemails, and even, get this...text messages. For a solid two weeks I kept being bothered daily. I believe a salesman texting a potential client without permission is inappropriate and ludicrous. To make matters worse, they were creepy text messages, stating "call me please". I'm sorry, but buying a car or even just roaming around the lot at Russel BMW is nothing like a luxury car buying experience should be. More
I can honestly say that I did not expect much coming to the Dealership. I have never had a good experience with one before. She is a respectful person and does not "force" you to buy anything. I was amazed with how much they worked with me even though I was very hesitant to talk to them. I will make sure to do all my business with my car with them. I can say that this dealership is true to its word. More

Purchased my first BMW at this dealership from Jeff Beck. Not only did Jeff provide the best price in the area he also shattered my preconception of the car saleman. After delivery Jeff made himself available for the most inane questions on my part and even was willing to meet with me to continue to answer any questions on the functions and systems of the BMW that I purchased. It was a great experience purchasing our 2013 X3 28i at Russel BMW. We already did our research and knew exactly what we wanted at the time of our visit. The buying experience at Russel BMW exceeded my expectations. From the first phone call to the dealership, to speaking with the receptionist and meeting with the client advisor, Tuesday Macy. This included meeting the client advisor, test driving the vehicle to making the purchase. This was an truly an impressive experience. Ms. Macy was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable of the vehicle. There was zero pressure and a willingness to please.
