I promptly received a call from Lonnie Overby from the dealership. From the very beginning, Lonnie was a true sales professional. I live in Pittsburgh, PA and the dealership was 245 miles from my home. Lonnie was aware of this and went out of his was to not only answer my questions, but to provide information on the vehicle, copies of the certification reports, maintenance history, and answers about BMW financing. I made arrangements to meet him at the dealership, bringing my trade-inn along Tuesday of this week. When I arrived, Lonnie showed exemplary courtesy, product knowledge, concern for my needs and what I wanted for my trade and to make a deal happen. Lonnie, along with Paul their manager and used car appraiser went out of their way to say hello and to then discuss my trade. I didn't get the money I wanted, but felt comfortable in the reasons they shared with me for their trade appraisals. All in all, the difference was not a deal breaker. So now, I'm an owner of a Certified, BMW 535d Xdrive. And the entire buying experience, from Lonnie, to the general manager, used car manager, and Larry Cash, their finance manager, was pleasant, professional, and respectful, from start to finish. I have bought many cars and trucks over the last thirty years. Catonsville BMW has to rate as one of my top automobile dealerships I have ever worked with. Lonnie made himself available that same morning to show me the car, allow me to take a test drive, and he answered all of my questions. I had only a limited amount of time to discuss the numbers and potential purchase agreement.
