Find a more thorough and thoughtful dealer. I clearly communicated with Volkan and Peter several times via email and text before taking time out of my day to drive to the dealer. I did this so I clearly communicated with Volkan and Peter several times via email and text before taking time out of my day to drive to the dealer. I did this so that I wouldn’t have to waste time at the dealership as I’d rather spend time with my family and friends. After several correspondences, I show up, and nothing is as discussed via the emails or messages. Do not waste your time here. There are several other dealers who I'm sure will value your time and be more transparent. I urge you to try elsewhere before you resort to BMW of Bridgeport. All the issues I faced very simply could, and should, have been communicated prior to me wasting time driving to the dealership. I tripled checked when I should go to Carmax to receive an appraisal so that BMW of Bridgeport could match the offer. I tripled checked whether the offer would be accepted before driving to Bridgeport. I tripled checked whether I’d have to go back to Carmax a second time. All of these items were not answered or communicated until I had to physically drive to the dealership in Bridgeport. Why should a car buying experience take two trips to Carmax and two trips to BMW of Bridgeport? I asked the questions and provided images of the appraisal to BMW of Bridgeport. Why not just tell me when to visit Carmax for my appraisal? Why not just tell me the image I provided would not be accepted because it was too late? Even better, when I shared the image why not tell me I’d need to drop my car off that Monday for the appraisal to be accepted? All of these things could have been so simply resolved via clear and succinct communication. This is not about the offers and the cost. This is about the time spent, the process, and the communication. Purchasing a vehicle should not be so difficult. I secured a loan which I then had to cancel. This is about transparency and wasting your customers valuable time. Now I must go through this exact same process with another, more understanding and competent BMW dealership. It’s honestly frustrating and a shame. Every dealership sells the same vehicles. The way to stand out is to provide a streamlined car buying experience. In the future, please try harder to respect your customers time. More
My overall experience of this dealership was fantastic! ! I arrived later than expected to hopefully purchase a fabulous vehicle I observed on BMW of Bridgeport website. I primarily delt with Bridgeport BMW reps, Kelly and Dexter who were great! They showed great professionalism and took the time to make sure the sale of the vehicle was right for me. No hassle no haggling whatsoever. I felt like I was genuinely talking to good friends I've known for years. GRATITUDE! I am pleased with the staff and I definitely will be coming there again for my next vehicle. More
