Went to see a car they had advertised at one price. Got there, wanted the car, The CPO sales manager walks over and tells me they mispriced it and it's now $2000 more. The salesman was nice enough, but th there, wanted the car, The CPO sales manager walks over and tells me they mispriced it and it's now $2000 more. The salesman was nice enough, but the sales manager then looks at me and tells me he just told me about this on the phone after he learned about it 30 minutes ago. Unfortunatley for him, we spoke 3 hours earlier - and not mispricing situation was ever mentioned. I walked our and wrote a letter to the GM who never responded. I can accept a mistake. I can't imagine the dismissive attitude of the sales manager and a GM who can't even apologize via e-mail. Given their behavior, I wonder what would happen if you buy a car from these people and it has a problem. While their sales reps seem pleasant enough, the management sets a horrible tone. I'd never purchase a car from this dealership. More
Worse customer service I have ever experienced from a car dealership EVER. They NEVER have a loaner ready for me when I reserve one, usually this means they have to rent me some piece of crap from the Enterp dealership EVER. They NEVER have a loaner ready for me when I reserve one, usually this means they have to rent me some piece of crap from the Enterprise place next door. I buy a 50K+ car, and I get a 10k piece o' crap for a loaner. When I first purchased my BMW 328i, I had a shimmey in the front end while breaking. These idiots blamed my "driving habits", as they were unable to resolve my problem. I have been driving for 30+ years, and my "driving habits" never seemed to cause a shimmey in the dozen or so other vehicles I owned. I believe it took 4 or 5 visits and WEEKS w/o my new car to finally solve the problem, which was attributed to some sort of steering column bushing or something being out of tolerance. But they initially BLAMED ME!! Then there was the time I went there for service, and my battery just happened to die the day after I had it in their shop. I never had any battery issues, EVER, all of the sudden, the day after their unskilled xxxxxxx work on my car, the battery is dead. They xxxxx me $300+ for that mess. They killed my battery, then charge me $300+ to replace it, RIPOFF ARTISTS! I can tell you story after story after story. Another family member of mine purchased a 323i there. They had a vibration in the rear end that was so brutal, you were almost unable to hold the sterring wheel when it happened. After WEEKS, Bridgeport BMW finally admitted they could not reslove the problem, the result, we had to PAY MORE for a replacement vehicle. Yes, that is correct, Bridgeport BMW was unable to repair his vehicle and we were forced to purchase another and they gave us an INSULTING amount for the vehilce they were unable to fix...sound like the "Ultimate Driving Machine" to you. Every person I ever had any contact with was rude, they plain and simple don't give a xxxx about customer service. I have another family member who went there for service. NEVER had a radiator problem, the next day, radiator is leaking and needs replacing. Sound like somewhere you want to buy an expensive car from? I would stay away from Bridgeport BMW at ALL COSTS. I now take m business to Watertown BMW, and the difference is like night and day. Watertown BMW is actuall LESS for most offered services, and they have yet to cause any damage to my car. The ownership/management at Bridgeport BMW is horrible, I recommend that you spend your hard earned money with a dealer that will treat you with respect, Bridgeport BMW is NOT that dealer!! Horrible, horrible, horrible! More

David spent time showing my wife all the bells and whistles. Would highly recommend this dealership. More
My husband and I needed to buy a sedan AND an SUV in one month. We chose BMW. We decided to buy the sedan first, and let all of the dealers know we wanted two cars. This saga is HARD TO BELIEVE: After month. We chose BMW. We decided to buy the sedan first, and let all of the dealers know we wanted two cars. This saga is HARD TO BELIEVE: After a failed attempt to purchase a NEW 2007 328xi (from GReenwich), we decided to purchase from BMW Bridgeport, as it is near our home. In the first round of bidding, Bridgeport refused to come down in price. So we put a deposit on a car with Greenwich, and when the Bridgeport salesperson found out, she sent us an email that said "...I am so sorry you decided to buy the car in Greenwich, did you know that you will have to drive an hour to get it serviced?" Rattled, my husband and I disregarded her sour grapes email, and let Greenwich know of the obvious undercutting/back-stabbing/unprofessionalism. We tried to purchase the car at Greenwich. Then, the salesperson who was helping us quit and they sold the car to someone else! Determined to but the 328xi, we went for another round with Bridgeport. Although the dealership did not offer a competitive price in the first two rounds of bidding, they finally decided to match BMW of Greenwich's price (she said "my manager doesn't think you will really end up buying this car, so he agreed to the deal".) Clearly, they thought we bargained too well. But, we did buy the car, for cash the next day. We went to the dealership two days later to pick up our car, and the salesperson was curt, almost rude. She told us that it was Saturday, so 'no one is available to show you how to use the car, we are swamped'. My husband and I thought she was joking, as there were 5 sales reps standing around, talking to each other! Only one other couple was in the entire showroom. We went outside to see the brand new car after a few mins. of signing paperwork. As promised, our salesperson, whom we never met before, refused to show us how any of the gauges worked! She looked me in the eye and said 'they weren't allowed to on Saturday.' She walked away after putting the new plate on the car. We were dumbfounded. What a HORRIBLE way to start a relationship with a dealership. They never tried to sell the SUV to us, despite the many mentions of needing one. We bought an SUV 4 weeks later, from LEXUS. It was delivered to my house with flowers. What a difference. The BMW Dealership in Bridgeport won't be around for long if they do not learn how to treat their customers well. Lexus of WESTPORT has another $50K to thank them for. Good Luck. More

Horrible dealership. Every time my car has been there for service it has left with more problems than it came in with. They have screwed up my car on many occasions. Last time it was there they had it for service it has left with more problems than it came in with. They have screwed up my car on many occasions. Last time it was there they had it for 3 days, fixed the wrong part and charged me for it, killed the battery so that the car would not start and didn't call me when the car was ready. Another time I was there they claimed they could not find the problem but when I picked my car up something else wasn't working. Plus they do not provide BMW loaners to anyone under 25 years old. Stay far away! You are better off going to Watertown or Greenwich. Even their sales team is awful. I was considering buying a new 325 but the saleswoman refused a test drive and attempted to disqualify me without knowing anything about me. They are also extremely rude and disrespectful such as the time the salesman took me outside to look over a car while he was smoking his ciggarette in my FACE and refused to unlock the car so I could examine the interior. What kind of service is this??? More
this is the worst experience i have ever had i brought my car in for a problem starting and they replaced a starter and i got the bill and thought it was high but i figure you get what you pay for well 2 day car in for a problem starting and they replaced a starter and i got the bill and thought it was high but i figure you get what you pay for well 2 days later the problem persisted so i called and talked to the manager fred stone to get in immediately he told me that they were busy for the next week so id have to wait so as mad as i was i waited and had many hard times starting my car well the week finally rolls around and i bring it in and i waited 3 hours while they "checked" it out when they came back and said nothing was wrong i questioned what they had done and inspected and all he could say is that it starts and he wanted to give me another bill for diagnosis he is single handedly the most incompetant manager i have ever met i dont think he has any automotive knowledge either he looked dumbfounded when i was asking him about the condition of the flywheel teeth i would never return there.once i left there without paying the diagnosis charge i went home and got under the car and found the problem to be a poor install the ground wire wasnt secured so i tightened it and been great ever since they get that much an hour and cant stand behind their mistakes ? I saw this website and thought it would give me a great opportunity to write about my wonderful experience with my new BMW dealership, BMW of Bridgeport and especially my salesman, Joe Catanese. In the pas opportunity to write about my wonderful experience with my new BMW dealership, BMW of Bridgeport and especially my salesman, Joe Catanese. In the past year I have bought (2) new BMWs from Joe and each transaction was just a great experience. Joe was very low pressure and the most informative and knowledgable salesman I have ever done business with. One of the things I appreciated the most was Joe's ability to make decisions without going back and fourth with the "manager". I started the transaction with Joe, continued with Joe and ended with Joe. No closer, no finance guy, no non-sense! What a concept. More
Stay away - I agree. I had a Dinan supercharged 328 that was nearing warrantee expiration and had sticky linkage that obviously only needed cleaning, etc but the service manager told me it needed a new tran was nearing warrantee expiration and had sticky linkage that obviously only needed cleaning, etc but the service manager told me it needed a new tranny. I laughed but he said it was covered under warrantee. I was confused since I thought the blower would void the warrantee. Told them to do it.

They call me while they are ripping off BMWNA with a phony warrantee claim and tell me that since I installed an M3 clutch in my car when they put the whole thing back together the clutch pedal was hitting the floor and there was no clutch - would have to drop the tranny, install the proper fork and charge me for it. I reluctantly agreed - what other option did I have? Bottom line was they tried burning me but I refused the credit card charge and wrote a letter to the owners to let them know what happened. Later spoke to a mechanic who no longer works there and he said that whenever an M3 would come in for service they would do donuts with the car and beat the crap out of it on the road test regardless of oil temp. He said ALL the mechanics do it - it's fun!

You couldn't PAY ME to bring my cars back there. I was also ready to buy my M3 from them but they told me I'd have to get in line and wait at least 8 months for a car. Found one from County Line that was going to production the following week. They are the losers in this situation. More
