My search for a new BMW 5 series began on the internet. I communicated with many BMW dealerships.....and was subjected to a lot of game playing. BMW of Bridgeport got right down to business, and with a few emails and one phone call we had a deal. I traveled a pretty significant distance to pick up the car. Both Mitch and Kurt were very helpful. The service from the dealership was incredible. Joe helped me learn the features of the car, and I called him with questions from the road. I received three emails from the dealership to make sure I was happy with the car within the first 24 hours. My experience with this dealership truly was a Ritz Carlton experience. I plan to buy more cars from them, and refer friends and clients. More
I in all honesty never write reviews just for the fact that I never have time to, but I thought I should make time to share my experience I had when shopping for a used BMW. I looked all over the internet and narrowed down my search to a handful of cars and of course all at different dealers. I started at 1 in Mt Kisco, the people were nice but they really wouldn’t help me to get to the monthly payments I was looking for so I had to turn away. Then I went to Darien, this was a mistake! I had to walk around INSIDE for about 30 minutes until anyone paid me any attention. If I knew it was going to get worse I would not have stayed any longer, but once I finally got someone’s attention. Note it was not busy and all the salesman were just sitting down at their desk starring at their monitors. I don’t know if they ignored me because I am young, but who cares, their f***ing loss (done with my rant). So once I started talking to someone and told them the car I was looking at, they went to get the car from the back and they lost the car. Yes they couldn’t find it! Then once they finally found it, another 20 mins later, it was dirty so they had to hose it down. It was dirty on the inside too, I just had to walk away. Now my experience at Bridgeport was the complete opposite. As soon I walked in Jason assisted me right away, even though he was in the middle of helping a customer! Here it was busy but I still got attention right away! Jason worked with his other customer as quickly as possible as he saw I had my 6week old baby with me. He got straight to the point and we finally came to a deal on exactly what I wanted. Jason is a family man, tries to do his best to make all parties happy! Additionally even after I bought the car and drove off with it, he called me the next day to let me know I left CDs in the dash of my trade in and he was willing to mail them to my house so it wasn’t inconvenient for me to pick them up as I live about 40 mins away. All in all I kept Jason’s information so when I upgrade I will definitely reach out to Jason. Note: Quality of Work is N/A as I have yet to get serviced from them More
I rarely write reviews and never thought 'd be motivated to write one on behalf of a BMW dealership. That being said I highly recommend Bridgeport BMW after my recent CPO 4.8i X5 purchase there. My cl to write one on behalf of a BMW dealership. That being said I highly recommend Bridgeport BMW after my recent CPO 4.8i X5 purchase there. My client advisor (salesman in non BMW speak) was John Rossetti who went above and beyond what could have expected at every opportunity even after the purchase. Furthermore, he had a great low key, no pressure approach, allowed me to take my time and gave me a great price on my trade-in and on my new mint cpo X5. I looked around for several weeks and contacted 5 other BMW dealerships including 3 in CT, 1 in NY and 1 in PA and Bridgeport BMW had both the best deal and the most straightforward, hassle free approach. I financed through the dealership and completing all aspects of the sale and loan with the business manager Jeff Pearce was also very comfortable, easy and straightforward. He explained everything clearly, gave me a great interest rate and there were no last minute, hidden charges. Most importantly when I returned 2 weeks later AFTER the sale both John Rossetti and Jeff Pearce went out of their way to help me when it was no longer even their job (everything was fine just had a screw in my tire). I got there late on a friday at the last minute and even the service department stayed late to replace my tire...amazing! Bottom line: there clearly seems to be a culture of fairness and customer service at Bridgeport BMW that is rare in business today and even rarer at car dealerships. It seems to me that they have made a conscious decision to cultivate a long term relationship with their customers by treating them very well instead of the approach I've encountered elsewhere of trying to milk every last dime out of the transaction and disregarding whether the customer is satisfied. You would do yourself a disservice if you didn't go in and see John and give yourself a chance to have a similar experience to mine. PS I also met one of the owners several times while I was there and he too was exceedingly personable and concerned with my satisfaction. More

Hard not to be apprehensive about going to any car dealership, what with all the usual hard sells and shenanigans. I did have a rather specific request, namely a BMW web offer for a somewhat unusual dealership, what with all the usual hard sells and shenanigans. I did have a rather specific request, namely a BMW web offer for a somewhat unusual model. The agent I worked with, David Baylis, was a good salesman - he ultimately did BMW well, as I got the car - but through the process he remained courteous, helpful, and thoroughly professional. Overall, I would highly recommend him and by extension this dealership. After completing the paperwork with the manager Jeff (quite a decent chap), a young gentleman named Joe went over all the functionalities of the vehicle with me. Spent close to an hour doing so - was extraordinarily useful. More
I would rate this dealer as excellent. I leased a 535Xi from a dealer in upstate new York back in 2008. BMW of Bridgeport handled all my service requirements very professionally. The facility was clean at all times and the people were excellent to deal with. I realize it is part of the BMW service program but they were very accommodating for the last 39 months. I just leased an X5 thru Kurt and he was excellent. Tona and Steve in the service department were friendly and well trained. They know what they are doing. I am happy to continue my relationship with BMW of Brideport for the next 3 years. You should try them. You won't be disappointed. More
Jason and Tim (the General Sales Manager) were absolutely fantastic to work with. The patience they had while I was trying to choose the "right" car was remarkable (took about a month). In addition, Walt Modeen in the Service department was a great help in advising what types of things to be thinking about from a cost of maintenance/service perspective on a couple of different cars I was looking at. Finally, Jeff in Finance was able to secure a great finance rate and made the paperwork process completely painless. Though he offered a variety of add-on plans, he approached it in a friendly informative way, and was not at all pushy. This was very refreshing. All in all, everyone I worked with at the dealership was always very professional and friendly and helped to make the buying experience comfortable. I would strongly endorse this dealership for anyone considering purchasing a BMW or requiring service. More

Traded in a Volvo and purchased a 2010 535 Xdrive from the dealership. Found them easy to deal with especially our client advisor David Baylis. We went there with a financing rate of 2.99% in our pocket and were pleasantly surprised when David located financing at 2.59%, not a huge difference but a savings none the less. The dealership is clean and everyone there was friendly. Although this dealership is located in Bridgeport it was well worth the drive especially when the local BMW dealership in New London receives such low ratings... More
