Worst experience from a car dealership, please read I was in the market for a Used BMW 3 series and I live in MA. I searched for a specific model with a 6 speed, so the availability of this model is rar I was in the market for a Used BMW 3 series and I live in MA. I searched for a specific model with a 6 speed, so the availability of this model is rare now-a-days. I found a perfect car at BMW Bridgeport. I called to check the availability of this specific car I found. I was told that I could test drive the car, but being a 3 hr trip I could only do a weekend. I verified the car would be available twice. My wife and 8 week old made the trip to see that car, and we got an early start to make it to CT at a reasonable time. On the drive we called when the dealership opened to again confirm the car was ready that day. It was verified and we continued on the trip vs turning around. Again, My wife, my 8 week child and myself arrived in the afternoon and we test drove the car. I worked with Kade, who on a different note was a GREAT person and salesman, he had no idea what was about to happen. I loved the car and sat down to talk numbers, having every intention of buying the car. He went to verify with financing and returning to tell us the car was sold during the test drive!! How does this happen with so many verification?? I was to say the least, irritated that I drove 6hrs round trip with my family (a 8 week old baby) and was completely let down, a complete failure of management and staff to communication. The bottom-line I would NOT recommend BMW Bridgeport, I WOULD recommend Kade if you have no other choice of dealerships, but OVERALL GO TO BMW Mt. Kisco. I ended up buying a BMW of the same model weeks later at Mt Kisco and they were much easier to deal with. Ralph was friendly and the dealership was much newer and cleaner. BMW Mt. Kisco is about 15-20 mins away, so do yourself a favor and go the right place first. Good luck. More
Steve Shapiro is the best! I have been Lexus customer for the last 16 years. I was on the way to Lexus to lease the car. However, I wanted to test drive BMW out of curiosity. I live in Greenwich but went to BMW of Bridgeport because it had most number of reviews and best rating. I loved BMW 3 Series. It was small with all the bells and whistles and surprisingly it drove well. My client service guy was Stephen Shapiro. He is young but he knows all about BMW. He was unpretentious, easy-going, funny and very, very friendly. I had anxiety about letting go of my beloved Lexus but Stephen was so wonderful that my anxiety subsided very quickly. I am not sure I would leased BMW had I not met Stephen. Make sure that you insist on having Stephen Shapiro as your client service guy if you are to buy the car from BMW of Bridgeport. He is simply the best. More

Bad customer service Adding to the chorus, I have had 5 leases with BMW over the past 15 years. The most recent one is with BMW of Bridgeport. And yes, Jason Gellatily does not know how to return numerous messages notwithstanding my loyalty to BMW. When I called to ask why he had provided such poor customer, his mgr said "he sells over 40 cars a month so no need to pay attention". In point of fact, BMW cars sell themselves. Jason is just a paper pusher. Suggestion?? Go anywhere else but BMW Bridgeport as your business is not valued. More

Granted the dealer is allowed to reject the pricing as in any business transaction, it's really not what you do, but how you do it that make the difference. The client advisor (Volkan), not just rejected the pricing suggestion, but proceeded to ask his colleagues, with a smirk in his face, if they thought KBB or Edmunds was a reliable source... It just didn't sit well with me, and they ended up also losing me as a client, since I current own a BMW and was going in for my second car. I have dealt with the Service area, and have no complaints about it. More

Outstanding! I leased a new BMW 535i xDrive from Jason Gellatly at BMW of Bridgeport and the service was outstanding. The car was beautifully prepared. Anthony, the BMW Genius walked me through every feature in the car. I've been driving BMW's for 15 years and Anthony taught this old dog some new tricks! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER! Bought a CPO with a clean Car Fax. Had the vehicle for a year and went to trade it in at another BMW dealer. That's when I found out the vehicle had Bought a CPO with a clean Car Fax. Had the vehicle for a year and went to trade it in at another BMW dealer. That's when I found out the vehicle had over $10k body damage while still in the dealer's possession, hence the clean Car Fax. It's required by law to disclose the damage, so they clearly committed FRAUD. Everyone that I dealt with knew about the damage, its easily recognized in BMW's computer system. Jason Gellaty knew about it, Bill Greene, the CPO manager, knew about it, yet they failed to mention it to me. They are out to make a quick sale and don't care about their legal and ethical obligation of disclosure. More
Unbelievable service... BMW Bridgeport is TOPS!!! I bought a 2013 BMW X1 from this dealership. The sales process was wonderful- no pressure, everything explained in detail, very supportive. I am constantly impressed with my experiences at BMW of Bridgeport. I was driving to work when I ran over something (THUD!) and got a flat tire. I made it to work to see it was punctured, off the rim slightly, and in bad shape. I called BMW of Bridgeport and John was super accommodating. I told him how I needed the car and couldn't be without it, and that I have a tricky work schedule and it is hard for me to bring in the car "at any time". He worked with me to around my schedule to have the car taken care of that very same day. Despite the appearance of having lots of other service jobs that day, John and Shayne went the extra mile to make sure I was roadworthy that day with my difficult schedule and without making me feel like they were doing me a huge favor. Also, BMW of Bridgeport is the most pleasant dealership if you have to wait while your car is being serviced. This dealership has set the bar super high in customer service. My wife has only one major complaint about BMW of Bridgeport- that they only sell BMWs! If she was interested in another make, she'd have to settle for another dealership and the experience here has been nothing but outstanding! More

He is polite, courteous, and knowledgeable about the X1. I felt very comfortable dealing with him and never felt any pressure to buy the vehicle. Scott made sure he found the model I wanted with everything that was important to me in this purchase. He followed up, answered all of my questions and accommodated my requests including taking delivery when it fit my busy schedule. I also dealt with Jessica and Victoria during my purchase and they were great too. I have purchased both new and used cars at different dealerships in CT. I have to say this was the best buying experience I have had to date. I would definitely recommend BMW of Bridgeport to friends, family, and anyone looking to purchase a BMW. In CT. More
