We are sorry to hear that your experience was not as expected. We advised you before installation of the very specific camera that you would need. At your appointed service time, you produced a different camera than recommended. It had a different wiring harness and no instructions. We attempted to gain information from BMW and the internet. We tried our best to assist you, but in the end there was no resolution. We had attempted to contact you on three occasions to inform you of the issue and the call went directly to voicemail. We then called your phone while you were here so you understood the situation and it also went directly to your voicemail. We did our best and would have loved to resolve your issue, but there was little we could do with what was given to us. We hope you understand and would respectfully ask you to remove your review

I ordered the camera that BMW suggested for my vehicle, and I told you that. I also told you that I prefer this camera to the one you wanted me to buy, because it has a touch screen. The camera model is not the issue. It is a BMW camera, for BMW automobiles. You provide service for BMW's. I expected better support from BMW USA, and access to BMW headquarters tech support if needed. Why would BMW sell a camera and not provide instructions to service departments on how to install it? This was my first BMW purchase and I expected much better from BMW.

Keith, In response to your posting it appears that you may not have the incorrect information. A FTC sticker was on the vehicle when it was on the lot for purchase at our Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM location. You signed a copy of that sticker which showed the vehicle had the mandatory Illinois Implied Warranty on the vehicle. This warranty as outlined by the state is for 15 days or 500 miles and is limited in its coverage. You also signed that document. We made you aware and you signed affirmation that the vehicle had no factory warranty on it. Your extended warranty that you purchased on 09/16/2023 was a 5 year or 60,000 mile program. It will go 5 years from the purchase date or 60,000 from the miles at delivery (37328). In other words, the extended warranty will be good until 09/16/2028 or 97328 miles (whichever comes first). It is a comprehensive coverage plan as opposed to the Illinois Implied Warranty, but we would direct you to the plan coverage and exclusion policy. We hope this clarifies the situation and invite you to reach out if you have any further questions.
