Review of Michael Matkosky I recently purchased a 5 Series BMW from BMW of Birmingham and Michael Matkosky spent an hour and a half of his time , his "genius," teaching us how t I recently purchased a 5 Series BMW from BMW of Birmingham and Michael Matkosky spent an hour and a half of his time , his "genius," teaching us how to use the navigation system, the different ways we can listen to music, news, sports, etc. He also showed us how to download our contact information, make calls, without taking our hands off of the wheel. We can now utilize the advantages of this car while eliminating distractions. He did all of this with a sense of humor and patience. He truly is a BMW Genius and a true asset to this dealership. In early 2016, the front tow hitch cover literally fell off of the car, nowhere to be seen. I have been trying to contact them for months about such a simple issue, with no response. This is a sorry excuse for a dealership, and because of the organization of the company, they have an effective monopoly for the Birmingham area. MY recommendation: spend an extra day and go to Atlanta for your BMW needs. More
