Poor customer service, condescending attitude If you are going in for service, avoid NICOLE! She is a service adviser yet the ANTITHESIS of customer service. They have always accommodated me when a service on a vehicle meant more than a day and I live 45 minutes away and needed a loaner. I don't understand the bad reviews because I have always received great service. More
Treated me so poorly We currently own 3 BMWs and the last one we purchased at BMW of Bellevue. Very bad SERVICE and never every go there! Last time when I had my car for diagnosis due to whistle noise from engine side. They charged me $200 for the diagnosis and gave diagnosis report Last time when I had my car for diagnosis due to whistle noise from engine side. They charged me $200 for the diagnosis and gave diagnosis report with only total price saying it will cost $4500 + tax (written in pencil) and that also not grantee the issue will be fixed. When I asked for detailed quotes, they said simply do the service here and we will give you the detailed quotes. Who will do the service without knowing what exactly are you changing and not even giving grantee that the issue will be fixed. I took the car out and gave it outside where I was given $1800 including tax and gave grantee that the issue will be fixed and if not the labor charge is free to address the issue. Gave the car and the issue got fixed and the total expense came to $1800 including tax. Not tell me whether you choose BMS Bellevue service were you have told the cost will be $4500 + tax with no grantee vs $1800 including tax with grantee. Never ever go to BMW Bellevue Service at any cost. Also think you can easy check is, the oil service. Both in BMW Seattle & Northwest they will have some coupons for $80 oil service includes oil change, filter & reset the meter. In BMW Bellevue they say they will match, however the catch is they only change oil but not filter & wont reset the meter. Then why the xxxx you are say, we will do price match on the service. More
3 Series Purchase and Review Hunted for a 2011 335D, found one at this dealer. purchased with unresolved error code for SOS (which worked anyway), car is in for service as I write Hunted for a 2011 335D, found one at this dealer. purchased with unresolved error code for SOS (which worked anyway), car is in for service as I write this. Was told the service could be 15 minutes or more than 12 hours (software update related). Was informed I would have a loaner, but received grief when I asked if they had the loaner ready (service rep. "you need a loaner"?). Calling into BMW and asking for service, person answering "how may I direct your call", to which I say service, "are you scheduling for service or do you have a parts question", "my car is in for service please route me to service", then hold hold hold . . . Was used to the excellent service at Chaplin's VW, and now realize how awesome that crew is over at that dealership. This dealership needs to up their game soon. Sorely lacking in customer service on many levels. Will try to rate again later after a few more Bellevue BMW engagements. More

This bmw dealership has the poorest service and quality of any dealership I have ever been to. After I asked about the low oil they handed me a quart and said "come another time and we will wash it" ... It's almost funny, except it's my $70k car More
My review is for the SERVICE department only. Stay away from this establishment like the plague!!! I would have assigned a zero rating if I could. Aside from the expected rip-off factor, they are rude. from this establishment like the plague!!! I would have assigned a zero rating if I could. Aside from the expected rip-off factor, they are rude. Singled out is Mike who doesn't understand the meaning of the word SMILE. Last time I checked Mike, it's free and may do you some good. I was charged over $200 (in spite of a promise by Clif Newton that they wouldn't exceed that) for a 15m diagnosis. To add insult to injury I had a 10% chemicals and disposal surcharge (for a DIAGNOSIS). They will take your money any way they can. BMW Seattle is better - at least they SMILE! Run from here!!! More
The "service engine soon" light came on in my X-5. I contacted Clif in service. It was likely related to the "mass air flow sensor". He researched the potential repair scenario and verified pa X-5. I contacted Clif in service. It was likely related to the "mass air flow sensor". He researched the potential repair scenario and verified parts availability in a return phone call to me. We set up an appointment for the next day. I arrived early, he took the X-5 in ahead of schedule and it was repaired within the hour while I waited. The problem was fixed and the vehicle returned clean and shinney, much better than the condition it was in when I brought it in. The bill was completed and the cashier took care of it immediately with a very cheerful approach. More
I had my X5 serviced several times for the sound system. Lost surround sound and quality of surround sound. The dealer cannot get it fixed. They kept insisting that the audio system is okay. I know better because it was fine for the first year. I would not use this dealer again. More
My '98 323 needed a fog lamp light bulb. Pretty simple I know; but the really excellent things happened after that. I went to the parts deparment and worked with Glen Williams to get this pretty straight know; but the really excellent things happened after that. I went to the parts deparment and worked with Glen Williams to get this pretty straightforward thing done. While there I also mentioned I had been working over time with a frustrating intermittent brake light failure problem, and had already tried replacing the bulb, the bulb housing, and trying to scuff out the contacts at the light unit itself. I mentioned I was afraid I would finally have to come in to the shop for expensive diagnosis and repair to what I hoped was not a grounded wiring problem or something. Glen was very knowledgable about the car, the parts involved and the codes that register on the 'check panel'. He recommended some options that prior parts folks had not; and wanted to be sure about the exact code involved -I said I'd run out to the car and check it. At that point he said "hold on a sec, I'll come out with you and take a look at it". With his help we quickly triaged the sitution, tried a few things, and solved the problem! Let me tell you I was never so happy to see that brake light come on! Glen also took the time to demonstrate the little tricks with releasing the fog lamp so you can change the bulb. I realized when we were done that that my few minutes were not anywhere near a Normal experience. Though these things may seem small -they aren't trivial. Doing things the right way the first time; taking the time to make sure you've done all that you can. I recognized that this wasn't "customer contact" marketing BS, he did this because that's just the way he was. I've been into BMW of Bellevue a few times over the years. I bought the car from Cory for my wife for a Christmas present long ago. It was an excellent experience then -finding just the right car that lit up her eyes. I asked Cory to help me surprise her -and I told her that we had to wait and keep saving; but had Cory get the car ready -I'd secretly come back for it. They even took down a Huge red ribbon and bow from the service department trimmings, to drape over the car for when I surprised her with it the next morning. Perhaps I've been lucky over the years, but that car still runs great, drives like the day we bought it, and it still makes her just as happy today and that first morning. My experiences at BMW of Bellevue have been good ones. But I wanted to give Special recognition to Glen Williams for taking the extra time and care. Because of the small things done well, and the big things done right, when it comes time to move into a newer BMW for my wife, I'll be back. More
