Avoid - Try BMW Northwest Called to make a reservation for a 10k service/check-up. Was told that if I dropped my car off in the morning it would be ready around 5pm which I thought was ridiculous - my dad owned a repair shop for 30 years and said it'd take 1-2 hours MAX if they were half diligent. Asked if they could provide me with a service rent-a-car which they said they could not - apparently all cars were booked for several weeks. They compromised by saying they could provide shuttle service to destinations within 5 miles from the dealership and expedite the service time to a few hours vs the all-day endeavor. Went in for the 10k service/check-up days later. Dropped off my car at 10:45am which was when my appointment was. Was informed by the service advisor that the car would be ready by 2:30pm which I thought was reasonable - BMW Northwest promised 2-3 hour turnaround time but I went with Bellevue BMW as it's a bit closer to where I live. Took their shuttle service and killed a few hours. Afterwards, they arranged a shuttle to come pick me back up at 2:30pm - they were right on time, perfect. When I got to the dealership, I was told that they were still in the process of working on my car and would take another couple hours to add an extra layer to my breaks/break pads to reduce squeaking noise that I had mentioned to them earlier in the morning. I was not happy but was willing to stay to get everything resolved. I waited patiently in their lobby until 4:30pm - 2 hours from when they initially said they would deliver the car. Still not ready. The car was finally ready at a little past 5pm. To make matters worse, I was told that they had gotten my car mixed up with another and that the extra work they were supposedly doing to reduce the squeaking noises from my breaks was NOT DONE NOR NEEDED... I'm not entirely sure why they needed an additional 2.5 hours as they didn't make any alterations to my breaks .... Conclusion When you're buying a BMW or comparable car in terms of price point, you definitely expect better service. In total, the whole endeavor took over 6 hours. If you're going in for service and you're not from around the area, expect to spend the entire day at the dealership or around the area. Bring a phone charger, food and your work with you. Bought my vehicle at BMW Northwest in Fife and had it serviced there once and I can say that BMW Northwest is far superior to Bellevue BMW - from my few experiences with them, BMW Northwest will go above and beyond what is expected to deliver the results customers want. My family has also had much better experiences with Mercedes/Lexus dealerships around the area. To make a long story short, Bellevue BMW is an Average Joe shop disguised as a luxury car dealership/service center. Pros Shuttle Service was on time Service advisor was nice and friendly Cons Service was ~3 hours late than scheduled car delivery time No service rent-a-car available for weeks Shuttle only takes you within 5 miles of the dealership Lobby/kitchen was lacking compared to other luxury car dealerships More
Professional scammers. Service is filled with professional scammers trained to tell you what will get you to drain your wallet. After you drain your wallet, don't expect you Service is filled with professional scammers trained to tell you what will get you to drain your wallet. After you drain your wallet, don't expect your vehicle to be fixed, be ready to spend more money. Don't expect a warranty either. Try BMW of Seattle instead. Never had a single issue there. More

Greedy unprofessional liars This dealership is an absolute tragedy to BMW's name. It's disgusting really. So I was estimated a quote on broken sunroof plastic clips and a broke This dealership is an absolute tragedy to BMW's name. It's disgusting really. So I was estimated a quote on broken sunroof plastic clips and a broken door lock on a used BMW I bought to $1,400 after labor. I did the clips myself in about 3 hours for $100. If I needed it done asap a regular every day well rated shop quoted $300 instead of $700 at BMW of Bellevue. Same thing with the door lock. Their service department is (as everyone else here and on yelp stated) nothing special or overly well qualified so why over pay? They rarely have a rental car to offer or any other amentaty. They don't answer their phones. I tried to call the dealership to find a specific torque spec on a part to which I was transferred 5 times. Front desk sends me to parts, "we just sell the parts we don't know how you put them on let me transfer you to service", then to service "let me transfer you to parts our book doesn't have any torque specs we just sell the services", then to an advisor who doesn't pick up. Call again we do this again except I get a new advisor who still though doesn't answer. When I called yet again later the advisor picks up rudely saying I didn't give him any time to call me back yet I did. The funny thing is he gave me crap saying "I can find out if you can handle giving me half an hour to an hour" but he didn't care or know I've called with this same scenario over the past TWO WEEKS. Nobody EVER CALLS ME BACK. I called BMW of Seattle and they said "let me just walk over and ask the mechanics" he came back 5 minutes later with the recommended torque specs. BMW of Bellevue wasted hours of my time when Seattle answered within 10 minutes. If you aren't buying a brand new BMW or servicing your car outside of warranty they don't like you nor do they care about you or your needs. I can't imagine BMW corporate wanting this underwear stain of a dealership having the company logo on their building. More
Phones Are Hard. How difficult is it to pick up the phone? Try calling BMW of Bellevue and you'd think it's impossible. Making a service appointment there is nearly im How difficult is it to pick up the phone? Try calling BMW of Bellevue and you'd think it's impossible. Making a service appointment there is nearly impossible since you either get transferred around until you hang up, or you're forced to leave a message to which no one will ever respond. Oh they have an online appointment system? It forces you to choose a mileage-based service, so if you have a special visit in mind (as I do), you're SOL. I've previously been here for service multiple times, where I've been dismissed for imagining a coolant leak (the reservoir was finally replaced after twisting their arms for warranty when a crack was found), charged a half hour for warranty labor and sent home without a loaner when I was promised one would be available. I guess shame on me for going back more than once. Well done guys, you've really set the bar for God-awful customer service. I work about 100 yards from this place and I've decided to go to BMW of Seattle instead. More
Terrible service!!! I would never ever go to this back yard shop again!!!!!. I was there to do warranty repairs and their “mechanics” damaged the plastic panel. When I br I would never ever go to this back yard shop again!!!!!. I was there to do warranty repairs and their “mechanics” damaged the plastic panel. When I brought issues up with my “service adviser” Clif, he told that they will fixed free of charge on my last warranty service. He purposely did not schedule or call me in for my last service appointment and when I called him back I was told that warranty was expired 5 days ago and nothing can be done. Also he refused to replace the broken panel. I was very disappointed and decided to call the service manager for help. Unfortunately same think. He was very rude with me on the phone and refused to do anything about it. At this point I will see if I can get any legal help because it looks like xxxx to me. More
No Good Liars I have a rebuilt title 2011 BMW 335i. I had the battery cable to fuse box recall issue so I called in to have the recall done. The guy from service tol I have a rebuilt title 2011 BMW 335i. I had the battery cable to fuse box recall issue so I called in to have the recall done. The guy from service told me they do not and cannot do recalls on salvage/rebuilt titles and also told me the recall had already been done on my car. So I look up my vin number in NHTSA's VIN/recall tool (National Highway Traffic Administration, an agency of the Executive Branch of the US Government and surprise, it says "RECALL INCOMPLETE"). I called back and told him that and he said, "Yeah? Where'd you find this, is it even reliable?" As I was about to tell him, he hangs up on me. Also, if the recall had been done, I would NOT have been having this problem. I call BMW of Seattle and they tell me, "That is not true, we do do recalls on salvage vehicles." Bellevue BMW calls me and tries to set an appointment for me to have my car fixed (out of my wallet) so I let them know Seattle is fixing it because they DO do recalls on Salvage/Rebuilt. He proceeds to tell me, "They must be mistaken. You should probably make sure they know you have a rebuilt title. It is against their guidelines to do recalls on salvage vehicles." Funny, because the very first thing that comes up when Seattle searched my vin was a message stating that warranties cannot be done but recalls CAN. BMW Seattle also told me this message should appear for BMW Bellevue soon as they searched my vin. BMW Bellevue Service advisers are a bunch of liars, I will never spend a penny there nor will I visit for any reason. Thank you BMW Seattle for fixing my car! More
