Overall pretty good service. However, I only asked for an oil change and planned my day around what I thought was going to be a short appointment. I was waiting there for 2.5 hours and they did do the oil change but also a vehicle check and a quick wash and vacuum. I wish I would have been told this, especially since I was waiting there at the dealership the whole time. I had great service from Chris though. Very helpful with quotes on everything. More
Some background: I purchased my car from BMW Bellevue and my experience purchasing the car was great. Since then, I have had my car serviced once from BMW bellevue which went as expect. Most recently, I h my experience purchasing the car was great. Since then, I have had my car serviced once from BMW bellevue which went as expect. Most recently, I had a scheduled a second service (changing engine oil and filters) for my bmw x3. During this service, the folks working at service center scrubbed the car against a wall and caused significant damage to the paint on two body panels on the car which was really frustrating. One thing I noticed was that the folks picking the car from the drop off area were not being gentle with how they were driving the car off the drop off zone to the service area. While there were no dents to the body, the paint damage was pretty bad and required repainting two panels on the car. BMW Bellevue’s service center immediately pointed out the damage and were apologetic and offered to get the panels painted for free. My car was then sent to RnR body shop on the east side and was told that the work would take a week but it actually took two weeks before my car was ready which was frustrating. Shortly after, the car was returned to me, I saw a service warning that the airbags were disabled and that I had to return the car back to the service center. After having to wait 2 weeks and just being back at BMW Bellevue, I had to again drive back to them to have them enable the airbags. I am really disappointed, both about the damage to the car during the original service, but also the lack of attention to make sure that all the sensors were enabled after work on the paint which does require airbags to be disabled. The one positive during this whole scenario was constant communication from Michelle from BMW Bellevue. She was very communicative and we’re giving me constant updates to the progress on the car and was to get be rescheduled immediately to enable the airbags. Overall, I am left with an impression that the service center at BMW Bellevue are not being as careful with the cars they handle as one expects. Perhaps this is just a one off issue, but I plan to get my car serviced at a different BMW location given this experience. More

Of the three (3) Puget Sound BMW dealerships, only BMW of Bellevue went out of their way to provide outstanding service on a Friday without a service appointment to replace my battery. Kudos to the service team for helping me out on short notice. More
