This is a review for specifically the service department and not the sales department. Our BMW X1 was purchased at AutoNation Honda of Renton and their service department couldn't figure out what was wrong and not the sales department. Our BMW X1 was purchased at AutoNation Honda of Renton and their service department couldn't figure out what was wrong with the coolant so they sent it to their BMW Bellevue location. Aaron is the primary service advisor that we have been working with. He told us the car was fixed and that a sensor was replaced, but failed to let us know that it was brought back to AutoNation Honda. We drove to BMW Bellevue and then had to be brought to Honda to pick it up. On the way home the coolant light came back one. Spoke with Aaron and he said to bring it back in and that they would provide a Lyft ride home. This morning I bring the car to BMW Bellevue and speak with Michelle A. (Service advisor) and was less than impressed with the interaction that I had. There was no willingness to try to figure things out or to uphold Aaron's promise that I would be provided a ride home. It was a very straight direct answer that it's not their policy to provide rides over ten miles and if I wanted to get a rental car I could pay for it myself and then get the warranty to pay me back. I am not a fan of the team at AutoNation Honda and their communication, but they at least helped coordinate a rental car for us when they realized the last time it was brought in that they couldn't figure it out. The warranty covers a rental car. Hopefully they are able to figure out what is wrong with the car the second time that they have it. Update: about 5 minutes after posting this Michelle came over and said that her manager approved the ride home, but will not pay for one to come back to pick it up. Spoke to the warranty company and they are not sure why we were not provided a rental car, but that we are able to file a formal complaint on Monday. More
The service team is always upfront and clear about the work being done, and associated costs if there are any. I absolutely LOVED my experience at Bellevue BMW. The dealership is nice, clean and not cluttered. When I first arrived I was quickly greeted by Brian L. He took the time to share what was in stock and also what was soon arriving. I told him that I was interested in one of the cars that was in production and he 'reserved' it for me. I anxiously awaited the arrival of my new BMW and kept in contact with Brian. I am sure he kind of got tired of me texting him all the time, checking in on the location of the car, but he did not let on and was always gracious and always responded back in a quick manner. Once the car arrived he sent photos! I arrived that weekend to finish the purchase. The process went smoothly and fairly quickly. BMW secured my loan and I drove off in my new car. I look forward to dealing with BMW when it comes to my service needs on my car. More
