We are expecting our son to arrive in early December and wanted to get a SUV but nothing huge and gas-guzzling. The X3 was the perfect fit for us and we love that we were able to get a diesel engine. We took our first long trip to the Poconos a few weekends back and the ride was awesome, not to mention the gas efficiency! Jason Ruzek was our sales associate and I can't thank him enough for his hard work in finding the perfect car for us. He was very thorough in finding our needs and understanding of our budget. We searched around different dealerships, but kept coming back to BMW and no doubt it was because of Jason :) I love my new X3! More

While I was taking care of paperwork, she was connecting our phones to the car via bluetooth, and showing my fiance some of the navigation/phone controls. Very helpful. Would buy another car from there. More

Still learning all the bells and whistles even though Jason explained everything when I picked up the car. (Have since called on Jason at least 5 times to "reinstruct" me and have received nothing but a gracious and helpful response, along with a follow-up email to make sure things are going well). Since I went from a Lexus to a BMW I had prior experience with navigation and many other conveniences so it is just getting used to how BMW incorporates these things. Secondly, Jason was terrific! He is exactly the kind of person I wanted to work with, since the Sales and Service people at Wilkie Lexus in PA were what kept me returning to Lexus for 4 RX vehicles! It was a difficult decision to leave "them" but since I recently moved to Maryland I was ready for an auto change and have always admired the BMW automobiles, especially the convertible. I had considered the Lexus convertible many times but was always off put because it was rear-wheel drive. Meeting Jason was a perfect fit......he was thoroughly knowledgeable, which was most important to me. He could answer any question I threw at him with ease and confidence and without bravado! He never had to say "wait a minute, I'll go ask about that." He is a very calm, collected and confident individual and the most pleasant to work with. He is truly an asset to BMW of Bel Air More

Simple things like having the car cleaned inside and out to them seemed like they were doing a favor for me. Several purchase documents had incorrect values for purchase price and taxation. When I pointed it out to the sales agent, Andreas, he became argumentative and said that those documents do not mean anything, and I should just sign. I politely requested that the documents accurately reflect the transaction. Andreas stormed out of the office stating, "I know I am not the smartest person in the room, and I do not think you are either." At this point I should not have purchased the car, but I did with the help of Chris Dunkes, the GM, who apologized profusely for Andreas's actions. When I left the dealership, the one major promise not kept was floor mats for the vehicle. During the next 3 weeks I had to call Jason (my main sales reps) and Chris over 6 times and each time I got through to them I was given a different story. At one point the Chris, the GM, stated that he can not be responsible for all the errors his team makes. Funny statement coming form a GM = General Manager. One thing that Jason and Chris said is that the mats can not be mailed to me (I live about 40 miles from the dealership) from the BMW Bel Air dealership. It seems far fetched that they can not just box up something and give it to fedex for overnight delivery. As of today, over 3 weeks now and I am still waiting for my floor mats. More

Courtesy Inspection Very pleased with the visit. They were very informative and I enjoyed the coffee break and donuts too. I would definitely recommend them to others. Very pleased with the visit. Now I must tell you that another BMW dealer in the area told me that I had three different oil leaks that would require about $4000 to resolve. I asked the service techincian specifically if he had identified any oil leaks during his in depth inspection. Answer: NO I will never go back to the other dealer. More

I recently purchased a Certified BMW in PA when I ran into mechanical problems in NJ. Since I live in Bel Air, MD I decided to take my vehicle in for service when I returned. When I got to BMW I spo into mechanical problems in NJ. Since I live in Bel Air, MD I decided to take my vehicle in for service when I returned. When I got to BMW I spoke with Gint. He is so funny and personable that I would definitely consider him as a friend. Anyway, I spoke of the issues that I encountered in NJ also providing pictures and left my X5 for service. 2 days later when I picked up my X5 it was like I purchased a new Certified BMW from BMW of Bel Air. They did the entire service and replaced my camera at no cost to me. I would definitely refer others to this dealership and moving forward if I ever buy another I would DEFINITELY without a second thought do so at BMW of Bel Air. More
I had a negative experience at this dealership last month and I want to be fair and thorough with the story. I took my BMW M3 to Bel Air about a month ago after the service engine soon light came on. The and I want to be fair and thorough with the story. I took my BMW M3 to Bel Air about a month ago after the service engine soon light came on. They were able to accommodate my schedule very well. After having the car in the shop for a few hours the service manager told me it needed a $1500 dollar repair. He walked me into the shop and showed me what they were going to change and I asked him and the tech if there was anything else I should consider fixing/replacing simultaneously. They said no and I signed off on the work. The part had to be ordered so I dropped the car back off for the 4-6 hour repair. Tom called and said the car was ready so the next morning I drove down (it's about an hour drive) to pick it up. When they pulled the car around the service engine soon light was still on. I went back inside and told Tom and he had them take it back into the shop. 10 minutes later I was shuffled out the door with Tom saying that they had "...cleared the fault and let's see how it goes." The SES light was already on again but I was late for work so I called Tom from the road. Without apologizing he said they needed to replace another part for over $1500 dollars to resolve the issue. Initially did not mention other problems even when I asked him specifically but now he tells me that the faults were there all along. I would have expected this kind of service from a local domestic shop that doesn't know BMW's. Both parts can be purchased authentically online for less than 500 dollars but were marked up approx. 100% on the invoices. I would be happy to pay that if it fixed my car but a local shop can scan the codes and start replacing parts for a lot less. (Resolution) Because I was dissatisfied with my experience I took the car to a highly recommended German specialty shop in PA. After being told the service history they tested the (second) part that Tom wanted to replace and found it working perfectly. The problem was a dirty wiring connection that they found and fixed for less than $250. It is likely that the initial repair from Bel Air was not needed and that changing those connections (by installing a new part) happened to eliminate that fault code. I cannot recommend BMW of Bel-Air because they not only failed the basic expectation that they would be able to fix my car the first time but also failed to acknowledge the avoidable inconvenience to which I was subjected. These folks knowingly sold me a defective car and did not disclose this information until 6-months after the purchase. After several visits starting a few days after I purchased the car. Numerous attempts disclose this information until 6-months after the purchase. After several visits starting a few days after I purchased the car. Numerous attempts to repairs, leaving the car for days to be tested and fixed… Nothing. BMW Bel Air strung me along; and in the end, they did not do the right thing. A $40,000.00 car and now I am stuck with it. I am very Disappointed. More
