My Z3 was fixed properly the first time, even found an oil leak that has been persistent over the past few months. They did an amazing service for me right before a long drive. Over the past 6 years I've Seen Jim as my service advisor and for the past 6+ years my service experience with him has always been flawless. Now that he's managing service, Steve is my new service advisor and service is still impeccable. I service all of my BMW's at Bel Air and recommend all of my friends to do the same. Thanks again, keep up the amazing work guys! More

All my questions answered Came into the dealership for an oil change and the service department found issues with my car. I was surprised by the information but I was able to Came into the dealership for an oil change and the service department found issues with my car. I was surprised by the information but I was able to sit down with Jim the device manager and he explained in detail all of the issues, why they needed to be addressed, and what my options were. It is hard to find people who are willing to take the time to do this anymore. I highly recommend anyone who needs service to come to this location. More
Avoid. Jim, the service manager at BMW of Bel Air, just called me to deny any responsibility for damaging my car during routine warranty work. I had several Jim, the service manager at BMW of Bel Air, just called me to deny any responsibility for damaging my car during routine warranty work. I had several body shops assess the damage, and they all agreed on the scope of work. Jim wasn't very happy with that when I let him know, so he decided to call me and have a melt-down on the phone. To recap, this BMW dealership: 1) left door seals off my car during a repair (and now refuse to fix the problem) 2) ripped my rear passenger tire sidewall during a wheel repair (and lied to me about that issue) 3) damaged my rear drivers-side wheel - but did pay to have it repaired (though it has now lost a logo that was attached to it, and they refuse to fix that problem) 4) severely damaged the paint on 3 separate panels of my car during a routine windshield repair, which I paid dearly for on their recommendation to never use Safelite (which they now refuse to correct or repair, and deny any responsibility, and yelled at me on the phone, and barred me from ever returning to their shop). For their going rate of, what $200/hr? This is what I get? What a complete and utter tragedy this place is. I wouldn't trust them to repair a Hyundai let alone a BMW. Steven, my (former) SA, is a nice guy who was helpful. Jim plays nice but he's a slimeball, as you might expect from a guy who manages service at a money-pinching car dealership that has obviously low standards for workmanship. If I had left this kind of damage on one of their loaner vehicles, you can rest assured they would be crawling down my throat right now to repair it. I cannot rate these guys low enough, they are a disgrace. If you want work done on your car, take the trip to York PA, or better yet go to Euromotive or Autowerks. Avoid this dealership group at all cost! :-) More
Fran Meyers of BMW of Bel Air made my day! If you want to learn how to treat a customer read on––Last Saturday had started out terrible–after another deal in New York went sour. Then, Sat morni If you want to learn how to treat a customer read on––Last Saturday had started out terrible–after another deal in New York went sour. Then, Sat morning Fran Meyers from BMW of Bel Air, MD called to say he had a car that I seemed interested in. This was 9 am. I told him I had no interest in haggling or dealing after what had happened the night before. He immediately emailed me the listing which was very clear without any uncertainty as to the what came with or didn't come with the vehicle. This was already totally different from what I'd experienced at Habberstad BMW/MINI where the listings were full of duplications that felt intended to confuse (may NOT have been, but sure FELT so.) I asked him questions by email, text and phone and he returned with answers immediately. Not only that but he gave us the price we wanted. By 11 am we'd gotten in the car and started the 4 hour drive to Maryland -- all based on theTRUST that Fran Meyers engendered. When we arrived he was prepared, the car had been detailed and was sitting on the showroom floor waiting for me. The experience couldn't have been better. Everyone at the BMW dealership was friendly and knowledgeable and we received first class treatment despite the fact that we were at a BMW dealership buying a pre-owned MINI. All I can say it, Fran Meyers turned a rotten experience into a great day and if he reads this he should know that I LOVE MY MINI! Thanks to him. Go to BMW of Bel Air and ask for Fran Meyers. Tell him the woman from Connecticut with the bright orange MINI sent you. More

I went in and asked for the advertised lease deal that is found on their website and tv. They said they couldn't honor it as they said it was the national ad. I left with both the sales rep and the GM letting me know they would call me tomorrow with an explanation. I received a text the next day stating it would take a down payment of approximately double what they stated in the ad to get the price they were advertising. They said this was due to the national ad and how it didnt work fir BMW Towson / Bel Air. I then went to Nationwide Infiniti and they honored their advertised pricing and got a car with a tremendous engine and far more options for less money. The next morning I woke up turned on the TV and there was an add for bmw towson / bel air advertising the same lease deal they just told me I couldn't have. I will never buy from bmw bel air / towson again. False advertising and no loyalty to returning customers. Instead of honoring what they advertised they will hold out for more money from someone who doesn't do their homework before the purchase. More
"Put your mind at ease when purchasing a car at BMW Bel Air" I can't say enough about my experience buying a BMW at Bel Air. It was so positive, that my sister also bought a car.
