Very Unresponsive I write reviews based on good and bad experiences, even when I do not end up purchasing from the specific dealership. To have authentic reviews, it is I write reviews based on good and bad experiences, even when I do not end up purchasing from the specific dealership. To have authentic reviews, it is important to read about everyone's experience. I attempted to obtain a detailed quote via email with an effort to get the best price on a few vehicles I was considering. I did not want to visit or have a phone call, at least not to start. I applied the same approach at all 9 dealerships I was considering, to include 2 other BMW dealerships and 4 other brands. I was never able to obtain a quote from BMW of Bel Air. Even without COVID-19 I would deploy the same remote approach; I am not a fan of dealership sales tactics (even most of the time luxury dealerships). The problem with this dealership was that I did not receive a quote. I received correspondence, but there needed to be a call or a visit to get what I wanted, and the fact that I was interested in value and price and I made that my original focal point of my first correspondence I was told that if I was looking for the best value another brand like Ford or Chevrolet would be better suited because they had higher rebates. I disliked that insinuation, but via email it could have been more innocent than I took the comment. I have given this dealer two stars because they did respond, but it was a rather bad experience overall. Even a quote that was ridiculously priced would have been something and better than no quote. Consequently, I did purchase a vehicle from another dealer and one that had a much higher MSRP than the actual vehicle I was inquiring about with BMW of Bel Air. Not a lot of great things to say about this experience unfortunately. To be fair, I inquired with a friend who did buy at Bel Air and he had a good overall experience overall in-person. More
