Marlo Bellizzi is an exceptional service manager. I bought my vehicle at BMW of Freeport and used their service center for 4 years. I was very unhappy with the level of service they offered. I switched to BMW of Bayside and had a small problem during one of my service visits. Marlo took care of everything. Since then she has made my exeperience with the Bayside Service center unmatchable. She responds to emails within minutes, and always has a positive attitude. Marlo is an exceptional employee and she is the reason I continue to use BMW of Bayside. More
I am a proud owner of a 2004 BMW X3. During my first 2 years I did experience a few problems. They were addressed, but NEVER fixed until Marlo stepped up 1 year ago. I am unsure as to the validity of the "customer reviews" posted on this website. Firstly, the dealership, as another reviewer had mentioned, is a tad bit unprofessional and unfriendly. As this dealership is closest to my home, I have been a customer for about 8 years now. Recently, I stopped by the dealership to lease my 4th BMW and overhead a client advisor nearly shouting at a customer over price. As a result, I had to rethink about my loyalties to this place. Secondly, the service center has some shady service advisors who don't care too much about repairing customer vehicles properly or honestly. On one occasion, a certain Mr. Lopez took one month and a half to respond to a manufacturing defect on a brand new 535i and nearly left me high and dry, had I not constantly badgered him to get things resolved. Another SA, Mr. Fan tried to weasle his way out of fixing my busted struts on a two month old X5, under warranty. Another certain service advisor, Ricky, took me for a fool and messed up the trim on my vehicle. To top it off, the service center's reception staff is not the friendliest nor the most efficient group of people I have encountered, for a luxury brand that is. I can not fathom the need for me to wait over half an hour for a loaner vehicle, nor can I understand why they would assist other customers first when they come in later than me. It's a sad truth that customer service is not their first priority. Money is. More
I've been bringing my BMW to bayside BMW for years and I can't say in all the times I've been there I've had a memorable experience until my last visit. It was my first time at they're new facility in Great can't say in all the times I've been there I've had a memorable experience until my last visit. It was my first time at they're new facility in Great Neck which despite it's size still made me feel welcome. But what really stood out was my experience with the service manager Marlo Velizzi. I'm not the most tech savy person and never really understood how to connect my phone to the Bluetooth. Everytime I've been there before everyone was nice enough to connect it for me But this time Marlo actually took the time to sit with me and teach me how to do it myself. Which was definately no easy task. It took around three or four tries till I really understood what marlo new like the back of her hand. She was extremely knowledgable, courteous and never made me feel rushed. Next time I'm due for service there's no doubt in my mind I'll be back to bayside to see Marlo. More
I live close to the Manhattan BMW dealership, after I tryed to get an Service appointment and been told to wait 2 weeks and some arrogant personalities, I tried something new. I drove out of Manhattan an tryed to get an Service appointment and been told to wait 2 weeks and some arrogant personalities, I tried something new. I drove out of Manhattan and visited Bayside BMW. No appointment needed! Mr. Itkin greeted me very friendly and out of my planed oil change for my X3, he showed me the history of my car (basically none) I end up with changing Oil + Filter, Micro filter, Air filter, Breake pads and disks, the engine belt Fr/Re wiper blades, breake fluid and flushing the Breake and cooling system. He showed me at the car that it really was necessary and not a sales strategy. Very Fair and Professional. I agreed and after 4 hours all was done, even my special request of changing the License plate frames, and a big plus a nice discount on the bill. I can only highly recommend this Dealership, very professional and customer orientated service, transparent process and answered all my questions. All thumbs up. Always again, worth the trip at all. I would like to add that I have previously serviced my car with BMW of Bayside, but must admit, this was my first and most pleasant experience working with Marlo Bellizzi. Her skills, workmanship and professionalism has not only enhanced her own reputation, but has also made a significant contribution to my overall experience and my future commitment to BMW of Bayside. Furthermore, I would like to add that Marlo has been amongst the most effective, reliable and trustworthy individuals I have yet come across in my career, and hope for a long lasting relationship in years to come. I called bayside BMW because my car was shaking and acting funny to my luck the service manager answered the phone. I explained to her that I have never been there and what was wrong. She told me to come right in and just ask for her. I got there pulled in and asked to speak to Marla. She came out and greeted me like she knew me for years. Asked me to have a seat while she has the car checked out. The car needed to stay for a reprogramming. She asked if in would like a car for a couple of hours. She took care of me like I was important. It was great a great experience and BMW of bayside has gained another customer because of Marla. Upon leaving she handed me her card and said call her anytime if I evervneed anything. It's so nice to see a women in her position More
Steven was my SA. Bought my Z4 in when the AC was working and fog lights had severe condensation. He was very friendly, got my car checked in and offer me a ride from their shuttle. There was free coffee and bottle water at their waiting area. Pretty nice area, had TV and free wifi to keep you entertain. Steven got my car fixed up and schedule me for a replacement fog light the weekend after due to the part not in stock. They had offer to wash the car due to all the snow storm but I have a guy for that so I decline it. More
My SA Steven Itkins has really pushed hard and assisted me with multiple warranty issues with my '05 X5 4.8is ranging from getting a new transmission, water pump, leaky power steering reservoir and now sel me with multiple warranty issues with my '05 X5 4.8is ranging from getting a new transmission, water pump, leaky power steering reservoir and now self-leveling suspension. I am always able to get a loaner even when I don't reserve one ahead of time. Sometimes the tech would forget to do things but Mr Itkins would always be on top of any issues making sure that I am totally satisfied. My X5 has been less than perfect but the service certainly has been up to par with what is expected when one see the BMW badge More
