Extremely poor service department Service department is pointless here. I'm learning from another shop now that it is likely because all along either the strut can is bent or the aluminum mount at the wheel for the strut. In October of 2016 – I had the connected drive retrofit performed since then I have been having constant intermittent issues with the Connected Drive features not working due to the car stating “Network not available, please try again later.” In my own troubleshooting process I found that the SOS button would not work either as it would be unable to connect. Turning the car off, waiting, and turning it back on would make it work in most cases. This was all communicated to Service Advisors; and I was very patient as I know troubleshooting intermittent issues can be very difficult. I even would make standing service appointments, banking on the fact that the problem hopefully occurs on the day of the appointment, it would sometimes and I would come in; your service advisor was also aware of this. We also agreed that I would just come in without an appointment when the problem occurred, and that too I did – problem was not solved, it would always come back – no problem found. With the last occurrence – I dropped the car off; a couple hours later I was notified it was ready to go with a letter provided to me stating that connected drive connections are intermittent at the moment in the area because ATT towers are down in some areas. Well, that did not satisfy me as my problem started since the retrofit, not recently. The issues continued; and I was told “Well, atleast the car is running it could be worse and it’s not like it’s leaving you stranded”. I finally contacted ATT, and BMW customer service. BMW Customer service contacted your dealer multiple times, no response. Per BMW Customer Service, MotorWerks was to contact me, and guess what – they did not. I wound up taking the car to another dealer, they looked into the issue and actually worked with BMW NA along with the connected Drive team and appear to have solved it. I am now 2 weeks in and no issues. Previous Issue: Shortly after the purchase of my car in 2015 from you – my brakes would grind when braking and turning left. I brought the car to you to look into it – was still under manufacturers warranty, and had maintenance package on it. The brakes were re-seated, cleaned. The issue still happened, I came back, the same thing was done along with a couple other things. I picked up the car, and the grind was still there – I went back and your service advisor said “That’s just the way BMW brakes are, they grind, that’s normal.” I know that not to be true so I wound up stopping working with that particular service advisor, isolated it to him and refused to have him as my advisor moving forward. Additonally, I went to another BMW dealer they took a look at it and immediately diagnosed it as plate rubbing against the rotor and fixed it – no more grind, problem solved. They did not try to BS me and tell me that it was normal. More

He kept me updated thru the proceedings and greeted me by name when i arrived for the service. Elliot is a excellent employee, the kind of guy I would hire for my business. He really goes out of his way for the customer and to insure the customers needs are met and they leave with a truly satisfying exerience. More

Erik Swanson was immensely helpful throughout the process. He documented the issue, arranged for a loaner, and communicated consistently with me as they tried to replicate the problem we were experiencing. I happened to have a picture of the display when it was malfunctioning and they were able to use that to further diagnose the problem. Erik was not in a hurry to get the car out of his shop but took the appropriate amount of time necessary. He respectfully requested to keep the car for several days after the repair to make sure the problem didn't surface again. Erik communicated with me daily (email or phone) and routinely said he wanted to give us the car back only once he knew it was working error free. More
Great Scammers: Sales & Service I am beyond unhappy with my 2005 BMW X5 purchase. I purchased the car (pre-owned) about a year ago and pretty much have had nothing but problems with I am beyond unhappy with my 2005 BMW X5 purchase. I purchased the car (pre-owned) about a year ago and pretty much have had nothing but problems with it. I took it to the dealership once for issues I was having with the car, and have learned my lesson to never take it back there to get repaired as they are beyond overpriced and will inform you that several other things are wrong with the car, when actually they are not. Maybe because I am a girl and they thought they could scam me into getting more money. But I got a few other estimates from other dealerships as well as gas stations and stand-alone repair shops, etc who told me completely differently information – however all of these other places did tell me similar things and completely opposite of what Motor Werks BMW told me and all quoted me close to $4,000 less. I am also extremely annoyed that I have had to fix majority of my door handles, which I have come to find out is a huge problem with these kinds of cars. I was ripped-off when I purchased this car and cannot wait to get a new car from a different dealership as I will never go back here. More
Hands down, best dealership ever! I haven't personally worked with the sales department, but the service department is unlike any other. This dealership is staffed with very professional service technicians and service advisors, and everytime I leave this dealership, I know that the vehicle serviced correctly the first time. In terms of cost, they're very competitive with their services and overall I would highly recommend this dealership for service. More
Regular Maintenance My car was due for an oil change. Once again, the service department at Motorwerks took great care of my car, and I feel confident that everything is working properly. More
I feel very special when I am treated there for service. Erik Swensen makes me feel very special when I am treated at Motorwerks. He knows me, but more importantly he knows the history of my car. When I last took it in, my car wasn't scheduled, but he took me in anyway. He fixed my Bluetooth connection on the spot, so I could have my phone back, called the number I asked him too, because I was unavailable that particular day. We were able to speak, after all, and he reported what the problem was and said the car was ready and waiting for me. He is so reliable as is the dealership. If I had to buy another car, I'd want it to be from Motorwerks and I'd want Erik to be the person I deal with because he takes the time to get to know me AND my car. More
