Service department is clueless, brought my car in and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it or fix it yet handed me a bill for over $500. Service department was less than attentive. Had to be proactive the entire time. Was given the wrong information by them when pick you my car, but was met with an irritated sales manager rather than a he proactive the entire time. Our BMW X3 had been at the Visalia location shop for over 3 weeks due to an engine replacement. We picked it up this morning and were on our way from Visalia to San Diego when we were in Delano the service light came on. We were extremely frustrated after just picking up the car. When we came to your Bakersfield location, Carolyn immediately helped us by contacting the Visalia location so she could access the situation correctly and get all the information firsthand. Knowing that we were on a time constraint she helped us with our options for rental cars (even speaking with the CarMax representative) if that was going to be needed. We just really appreciated that Carolyn was so kind and helpful. She went above and beyond. We will definitely be back for all our service needs! More

What happened? I’m on my third car from them. Usually a magical experience. What happened? Went in for regular maintenance and I felt like I was as Walmart tire and I’m on my third car from them. Usually a magical experience. What happened? Went in for regular maintenance and I felt like I was as Walmart tire and lube. All of the customer service was extended from me. No courtesy and the woman who took care of me in service department had a continuous pretentious and odd scowl on her face. She offered me nothing in The way of comfort; and there was very little face/eye contact. When my vehicle was finally ready she dismissed me from the office and sent me out to wait on the side walk. My car was delivered to her in the Bay Area. So I had to walk back to get into my car. The technician went into her office with the keys because he assumed I would be waiting there. So he came and passed my keys through the window. Also my head rest was raised so high that it hit the top of my head. There was no safety in that. Now I can’t get it down. So driving is uncomfortable. All in all It was the most disappointment that I have ever experienced there. Before when I would come I. The “guys” would treat every customer as a valued client and with courtesy and respect. I find the women cold and unassuming. I felt like I was providing service to them. I think I will go to Mercedes or ‘Mazarrati next time. With a high end vehicle you expect high end service. Or at least courteous service. I am very disappointed. More

So this weekend I visited BMW of Bakersfield and met the most incredible young woman, Carolyn Cariaga, the Service Representative. It was to take care of a simple problem, but Carolyn went beyond that and made certain that I left with a memory that exceeded the little problem that I had. From the moment I pulled into the service bay I felt like I had met a friend who was willing to explain some things about our new BMW; probably information I should have read, but Carolyn patiently explained anyway. She never lost her smile, and within a few minutes my minor issue was taken care of, much better than I had expected, the vehicle had been washed so well it sparkled and my thoughts about customer service were forever altered. This is service that most dealerships promise, few deliver and BWM of Bakersfield, delivers. I was so touched by the experience that I sought out the General Manager (yes he was working on Saturday too) Alex Karegaran to share with him my experience. He is a gracious man who really cares about his customers, and is proud of those who work for him. If you are considering a luxury car, step up to BMW and buy it at BMW of Bakersfield; guarantee no regrets and many smiles. More
Bakersfield BMW kept my 528e for a week-and-a-half to perform minimal work and couldn't even find the time to install a new license plate from which I left on the front passenger seat. Took my 745LI in for service it was 10 days new. When I got it out of the service dept it had scratches in the paint down the passenger ise and back bumper.
