The appointment process was great, the check in was great, I asked to be taken to a breakfast restaurant close by it was great, I walked back and waited, and work was done as promised. Took car in for a specific reason that was already diagnosed and a known issue, the air block next to compressor was leaking for rear air bags. Said it when scheduled and again when dropping off. She diagnosed and a known issue, the air block next to compressor was leaking for rear air bags. Said it when scheduled and again when dropping off. She stated it was a 215 diagnostic fee and I said fine but I’m telling you what it is as well. When I got the diagnostic video the tech recommended that we replace the rear airbags because that was most common. I told him that the bags were replaced 7 months ago and the problem was the airlines going into the block were stripped and leaking. I was called back and quoted an additional 650 dollar diagnostic fee bringing the total for diagnostics to 850 dollars to just look at what we already knew the problem to be. I went to dealership to pick up my car and asked to speak to service manager. He never came out to talk to me and instead just waived the original 215 dollars. I took the car home and in less than 2 hours I removed wheels and inspected the rear bags, I dropped the panel to get access to the air block. Sprayed the block with soapy solution and confirmed the air block was leaking. we dropped the compressor and changed out the block and put everything back together in a total time of 2 hours. The reason I was bringing it to the dealership was 10 days prior while in Dallas TX I suffered a stroke and spent 5 days in the hospital. I did not want to deal with it. However after this experience with the dealership I strongly believe that you are taking advantage of people. If I would have followed your techs suggestions and replaced air bags I would have got my car back and the issue of the leaking block would have not been fixed. Also you wanted 850 dollars to diagnose something that took 2 hours to fix. More
